Question is not if she applied or not the question is was she issued with the said certificate? if so when? Its a shame the way people support evil in this country yet we are hoping that things would get better. Until we throw away ethnic colouration in everything we do then Nigeria is doomed with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Even somebody that forges university certificate. If they are in A PC, those corrupt people will bribe a Vice Chancellor to claim he graduated from their school.

This is why no document from Nigeria, even if it has the seal of Nigerian President is honored anywhere in the world.

Nigeria is the only country in the world where it's national institutions will protect a forger if the price is right.

...did u read my post at all...you can school and graduate in a foreign university and start working there,let's say at ur 20s....then u return to Nigeria when u are older than 30 yrs for a civil service work, then obviously u can't serve anymore...u then apply for exemption...

If she applied for exemption, why was she wearing a NYSC uniform in another photograph published to the public? Was it that thee exemption was not granted and she decided to do the NYSC or she was just wearing the uniform to see if it will fit her? #iamnotunderstand shocked

You cannot work for the government at a certain level of you are graduate before 30 and you did not serve

The law is explicit on that

if you like work abroad till you are 40

Assuming she found a way to be smuggled in without forgery, the sin would have been lighter

Its your age of graduation that matters, you can be 50 years in nysc as long as you graduated before 30. Exemption doesn't apply in this case except she has a stronger case to present.

To start with, she wasn't qualified for an exemption.
She graduated at 22, she could have used any of the 8 years before her 30th birthday to come home and serve her fatherland. But she preferred to work in the UK. But when the opportunity presented itself to come partake in getting a cut from the Nigerian Treasury she jumped at it.
So, the only way to work in the public or civil is either NYSC certificate or exemption letter from NYSC. So she forged.

I was laughing when i saw some people saying one couldn't receive exemption letter if below 30 years. I know of about 7 people that got theirs, including my family members. Ignorance.

Is it too hard to go to your data base or file containing exemption letters for people that schooled abroad or something........what investigation again? All these our academic people sef. What a fuuuu**ck of a response is this...did you serve? Did u not notice guys from abroad or Nysc officials always shouting for foreign students to do proper documentation else they will not have the cert,now she at 22 felt the laws of the land is not applicable to her for being fake British vehemently refused to appear for the mandatory service for 19yrs. Now when about to get employment went to forge certificate. Tell me why they can't issue same certificate to my mum cos she applied too last yr.

My next post will highlight what loopholes nysc need to cover after lying that she applied
