I am not for APC or PDP , but I think Nigeria is playing a very bad game of politics . And it is we the masses that will be at the receiving end .
It a case of our political elite having more power to decide our faith rather than we the masses during elections .all they need to do is to form alliance or collation. The bigger the men in their ranks , the better their chances . Therefore if the best candidate is to be in a neutral party , we will never get it right .

In 2015 it was the coalition that brought APC to power and they failed , in 2019 same set of people that failed in 2015 coalition are setting up another coalition for 2019.

Please are we progressing politically or still drinking in the same muddy water of Nigeria politics?

Am not surprised, they did the same thing to form APC which they used to kick Jonathan out of power and they brought Buhari. Now same people are ganging up again to bring in another corrupt politician. After four years APC will do the same thing to kick them out.

Please op, stop the delusion. No mega party was formed as part of the M.O.U. Listen again to the press release after the M.O.U. There is nothing like megaparty yet. CUPP stands for Coalition of United Political Parties, a coalition of different parties pursuing articles of the MOU in their respective parties. No merger yet.

There is nothing to rejoice about. That name has not been registered as a political party and will not be featured on the ballot box by INEC. And if it remains the same till election time, it there means that each party will still fight for the interest of their various parties. Can Atiku, makarafi, dakwambo or any of them step aside for candidates of another party? certainly difficult. They can only try what AD and APP did in 1999, which never worked then and will not work come next year. Because it will only boil down to one or different candidates vs buhari.

The last time I checked, Lagos APC were begging the 5% for Oshodi/Isolo Federal constituency.
