I'm a living testimony. I'm a distinction graduate, I served in a college of education after my service I applied for graduate assistantship in my Alma mater but I was asked to bring recommendation letter from a member of National Assembly.

It is crazy how they have taken over everything. This government is very corrupt. I have seen how people are recruited on a daily basis while over qualified people are left unemployed. This country is iredeemable and some people will keep saying this is a government they want to return. if you are enjoying now think of tomorrow worse case scenario it ends in 2023 and the idiots will leave the country in a mess. I don't know what is wrong with the youths. We see what is happening in other countries but we can't demand same be done in Nigeria

I wanted to help someone get a job few weeks ago... I was told to bring 1m naira. From a director ooo.

He said there are so many people he will sort apart from him.

As at 5years ago it was 250k to 300k
Nigeria is a total joke now.
You're part of the problem.

How can you "HELP someone get a job" just because you KNOW A DIRECTOR?
Who then will help the average Nigerian that knows no Director?

Okay don't get me wrong... I call him to know the procedures to secure the job... and if he had said go and follow due process and giving the proper channel what stops me from going to tell the applicant to do what is needful.

Can the thieving job grabbers tell the ordinary Nigerians what happened to DPR interview result of over 7months months ago. They have also secretly employed people who did not attend interview. Some people were at the interview centre at 10pm waiting to be interviewed. They employed unmerited pass or failed children of the rich, politicians and kings who did attend the interview
Nothing has been heard of the DPR result. The Youth of ordinary Nigerians, please don't vote for these old and existing politicians because they will further cage your destines, let their children come out to vote for them. Let us vote Youths like you so the destine usurpers will be stoned out. The president and his Lieutenant does not know what is happening, after all, they have secretly employed their families. Nigerian Youth, drive these vampires away with disgrace

What a bunch of malarkey. They could easily recruit online and schedule dates to meet people in person. These agencies are simply subverting laws. All these hires are clear conflit of interest.

FCC officials told this reporter that the agencies shy away from advertising vacancies to avoid stampede.

Okay.
Sorry for misinterpreting you in the first instance.

FYI, there's nothing like due process.
...there's nothing like proper channel.
...there's nothing like merit.

Even the just concluded Federal Fire Service application, the slots have been shared already.

If anyone finally gets the job by MERIT and without CONNECTION, that person should remind me of this post.

Shalom.
