Yes Google has unlimited cloud storage for pixel 2 owners but that is to compensate for the lack of SD card. Samsung Galaxy note 8 has 15gb of Samsung cloud and then another 15gb of Google cloud plus support for SD card so do the maths urself. I use Google cloud on my v20, 15gb is enough as I don't automatically save my videos to the cloud, I use it for just photos. I mean in Nigeria u don't wanna be uploading 1gb plus videos to the cloud with that the state of data in this country.

Samsung takes the stock Android and modify it to add more features. So how in the world would u think stock Android from Google has more features than Samsung exoeriebce, Samsung flagship phones have all the features of stock Android plus MORE. So how can u ever think a pixel phone has more features than a Samsung Galaxy note 8. What sense does that even make?

Please, u need to stop comparing stock Android ROMs found on the Google pixel to custom roms based on stock Android. They are different. The custom roms u have on ur galaxy s5 is very different from vanilla found on the Google pixel. U can never ever compare the controls and functionality of the always on display found on Samsung flagships to the basic ones found on Google pixel. Do ur research very well.

Lineage OS is not stock android, it was built from stock android but it has very many modifications.
If you keep you phone side by side with a Google pixel, you will notice you have far more setting/customization than the stock Google pixel settings.

Lineage OS is a CUSTOM Rom

AOSP ROM good customizations. Lots of things to try out. Support substratum theme engine. Update are download directly with external link and installed directly on default.

Why do u think they are called custom roms in the first place? Your galaxy s5 has root access, does a Google pixel 2 have root access out of the box? Google.pixel 2 is controlled by Google and they give u features they want u to use, and lock out other features they think are not ready, so if u want those features u have to root it and install a custom rom.

Custom roms are controlled by developers like u and me, they take the os from.google and customize it adding features that google did not add. The update u are shouting about are not directly from.google but are pushed out by developers. So for.ur mind now u think what u find on Google pixel is the same thing u find on custom roms?
