I remember in the 1970s in Ibadan, I scored 27% in Yoruba, which was the highest score amongst my classmates.

As punishment, I was asked to trash the non-Yorubas 6 and the Yorubas 12. It felt so sweet trashing my classmates.

shut up. Itz not igbos but all tribes in Nigeria are loosing their language. English is taking over. Can u speak ur yoruba without mixing English in it. Some of the items. Materials we use today are written in English language and doesn't ave a name in our local dialect fool. Hm
