@Bunny19 I didnt experience cramps but I had serious pains from week 8. Doctor placed me on bed rest which I did at home. I was given some drugs can't remember the names and paracetamol. The pains ended in week 12 and I didn't experience any pains again all through the pregnancy. Try and rest dont stress yourself also, take away all fear from your mind your baby will arrive sound and healthy.

Lemme teh you what wee happen.... fostofost, cold water will make baby have block in his mouth and eyes! as if the water getting to the baby is cold too, biology tells us that the body regulates the temperature of whatever goes in our mouth. Seconofost, climbing bike wee press the baby's head in the middle and make it very flat on top so that the head wee look like flat bottom flask...as if you're sitting on the baby and not your boody. Thirdofost, wearing trousers wee divide the baby's head into two equal halves from front to back as if you want to share orange sebi the trouser is on my yansh, wetin consign baby kwanu? I can't deal abeg....

On a serious note tho, the warnings are basically for the mother's well-being since whatever affects her will indirectly affect her baby. Cold water worsens cold and catarrh for some (not me sha, cos that's what will make me feel better)...jumping bikes opens you to a number of risks including accidents and Co, which might affect the baby....wearing trousers just becomes harder as your bump grows bigger, it becomes a struggle except if you have maternity jeans. The long and short of my tori be say, do what you want but stay safe and be careful!

I thank God for his mercies, this pregnancy has being filled with drama.
My edd was 5 and 7 july according to scan n lmp.
Spent 2/3 of my first trimester hospitalized due to severe ms.
Half of my 2nd trimester on intermittent bed rest due to cramps
My 3rd I was already waddling by 7months.baby's head dropped early.i couldnt bend and I was as lazy as slob eh.
I was having frequent BH contractions. It became normal sef to me.
I stopped driving.uber and taxify finish my money eh!. chai!.

Fast forward to 20 june.after my ANC. I decided to finally shop and pack hospital bag incase of emergency as if I knew.
On sunday 24th june.i was on call..so I prepared went to work by 8am, while at work I was having my usual false contractions or so I thought.
So inbetween attending to my patients I will jus lie down when I could to get a little relief. I was jokingly telling my colleague 'this kain busy duty I go soon born for una for hia'. We all laughed about it.i now said I was going to as my ogas for the day off on monday cos that sunday had being stressful so I dont deliver before my time.

I closed by 830pm.hubby came to pick me.when we got home.i prepared dinner, we ate, the contractions came back.i just took a bath and told oga am going to bed early, that probably due to the stress, the BH contraction is back.

Went to bed by 10pm couldn't sleep, every 45mins this contractions will come. Ahhah! Which kain false contractions get time like this, went to the bathroom checked. No show, no mucus plug, no water.God help me oo. Went back to bed. 12am contractions every 20mins.chineke! This can't be false again na, went to the bathroom, still no show, no mucus plug, no water. I started praying 'God please I don't understand anymore, am sorry i wanted to skip work ooo, pls just let this contractions stop oo, I will go to work tomorrow' for where.i woke hubby please gimme paracetamol. He asked are u in labor I said I dont know ooooo, should we go to the hospital? I said I no.
1245am contraction becaming longer and every 5mins. I told hubby hospital ooooooo.i had pulled my pyjamas n thrown oneside I was walking to n fro the parlor praying. Oga jus grabbed one free gown threw over my head I just put one hand in , open the door started walking down stairs barefoot.Dh was lke wait ur slippers.i didnt even ans.when the contractions come.i jus pause n grab the railings.my sister carried my box.thank God I packed.

Got downstairs opened the door I climbed in, dh realise I forgot my hospital card, he asked my sister to close the car door wen I go in since i was now moving in slow motion, the contraction was every 1min n lasted 10secs longer.and den ran in to get my handbag

As I jus put on leg in, another contraction came with the urge to poo.as I pushed baby head came out.i just shouted my baby is coming oooo, next 30secs senod contraction baby body slipped out.i jus held my baby crying my baby is here ooo.my sister almosted fainted .she screamed out my whole neighbourhood out from their sleep.hubby ran down stairs carefully moved the other leg in the car closed the door and drove james bond to the hospital.
As God will have it all the estate security was still at their duty post by 1am.the opened the gate fast.we went to the nearest hospital.wen the gate man saw how hubby dove he ran away from the gate probably tinking it was robbers. I just told hubby lets go to my hospital pls.we raced down there.got the nurses.they came to the car cut the cord.took baby for suctioning n cleaning.
Then helped me to the labour room where I delivered the placenta and was stitched.

Tank God for his mercies.he is really a faithful God.

Lol all those things will only affect the mother and not the child. Its good to be careful though but they saying it affects baby bla bla bla is a big lie. As for trouser, no mother will even feel comfortable if its tight.

we got bak home and wifey ate a bit but almost err1 at home have one issue or the other about d day, we licked our wounds and sha force one another to bed, Next morning i woke up and went to freshen up (have to travel bak to work, some important report needed to be submitted). so as i was eating my rice ( grandma cldnt sleep so she passed tym with cooking) then wifey stood up from bed to peed and she called me that water again, Madam u feel any pain, she say no, instructed her to get her scan done and see d doctor ( was pissed about d whole thing already). left for Abeokuta and resumed work jejely , but i was not completely in d office. was doing my thing when she sent a screenshot of the new scan report, EDD shited to after 3days again. ajust glanced through and said okay ( missed the scan summary).

On a second look, i saw d word severe ( my heart hanged in my throat) her condition was termed SEVERE OLIGOHYDRAMNIOS , dragged google out and started reading again, then theh say its when the water protecting d baby is not enough, ah! i shivered. wifey is back with the doctor already and he advised a CS be done ASAP, not thinking twice i gave consent, told the report in office wanka! took the next bus bak to Lagos, pkugged in wifey favorite song (thats d only song on my phone ) . got bak as if i flew, wifey is vn prepared already, went home to change into something else ( have dis clothe i always picture me wearing qhen i meet my cute baby gal). On getting bak to the clinic, em say dey don start already Ahba! i ddnt get to talk to my wifey na, grandma was already calling d God she serves.)


Then something happened, my wife was screaming ontop of her voice, are this people mad? i thought, what am i paying for if my wife still screams and feel pain during her CS, drag one of the nurses that came out of the theatre and questioned why she was in pain, apparently wifey was subconscious and thinks she is just sikently praying, few minute i hear peson knack person and one voice started crying, grand ma acknowledged baby arrival in prayer started requesting her wife be retuned too ( definitly u will take your cash and then card when u use the machine). in like 40min or an hour, all was done, my wife was moved out, baby gal was cleaned up too at 3.2kg. tears dropped from my eye when wifey called me, first thing she said was dint worry, i will give you two more(wifey love me die) told her to chill then she started giving list if pple i need to call ( i hardly can live without her) took that and baby was brought to me, i ran( a whole baby, as in human being, and u say its my own) give baby to grandma i told nurse.


Grand ma blessed and blessed her, she said i shoukd meet her and bless her too, i couldnt pray, but made her d first promise on dis soil.

I couldn't stop laughing. A lot of these things actually have no effect on baby. But the truth is, that trouser thing showed me o.
I was always wearing trousers though the band isn't tight but elastic. One woman made me stop immediately, saying it might prevent baby from dropping. After I did, I noticed that in the next few weeks her head was coming down to my pelvis. That was when I started waddling. Though I didn't want to believe her, but she said I can see the evidence for myself. She asked me to stick to gowns and leggings

Hello Mama, I also had multiple fibroid with pregnancy. I experienced cramps and severe pains when the fibroid was degenerating and premature contractions at later stages. I couldn't sit, stand or walk for long, only relief is when lying down, all these happened bcs of the position of the fibroid.

Not to worry though, just work with your doctor, do scans to know the position and size, take lots of water and avoid physical stress please. You and your baby will be fine

Might be due to sluggish return of blood from the lower extremities, and the swelling should reduce when when pop up ur feet on a pillow or a small stool.
But if it is sudden u need to go to the hospital, as pre-elcampsia also causes swelling, which is accompanied by high BP and presence of protein in ur urine
