It's actually on that paper given to you at the end of the interview, just summarize it. Any other thing you say can only be speculation and guesswork....

Good day Mothers in the House, you guys are wholesome and I pray that it shall all end in praise and thanksgiving in Jesus name.

Please I need advice from Veteran Mothers, see my request below;

So I applied for a medical Visa Oct 2013 and was granted , went to the embassy with my medical bills paid . We lost the baby but still travelled May 2014. Asked me at POE and I explained we got a medical Visa coz we were expecting a baby which we lost , the officer sympathized with us and stamped us in. Then we did a drawbox entry for renewal jan 2017. We planned to use the Visa 2018 but now I m pregnant again. I m due feb 2019 and my Visa expires jan 2019. Now we re confused on what to do . Either
1. Should I go to the Us say Nov 2018 and I should be probably stamped in for 6months . Meaning on leaving Us , my Visa would have been expired
2. Do another draw box renewal, even without using the 2 years Visa that is expiring soon.
3 . Reapply for a Medical Visa and pay all my bills and visit the embassy .
Please appreciate your quick response to enable plan properly. Thank you

you can even enter the us a week befor your visa expires and they will stamp you in for 6 months as long as your passport isn’t expiring same month or isn’t expired. Google it, the us immigration website would explain better. My hubby traveled to the us in January, his visa was to expire in feb but they stamped him in for 6 months after he told the cbp he was only staying for 3 weeks sef.

Hi, I flew delta in May, they give bassinet on first come basis, so it really doesn’t matter if you’ve booked one before your travel date, just try to get to their check in desk early and request for one. They’ll give you if it’s available. There were only two bassinets on my flight with about 10 babies, I was able to get one cos I got there early and my initial seat was changed.

For breastfeeding and handling baby etc, which seat type will you advise I choose? Aisle or window? Pls advice

There's no rule that says you have to travel before you renew. I was in the same situation in 2016, I was issued a visa in Jan 2014 for holiday but never got to travel. Then found out I was pregnant in Jun 2015, renewed my visa via dropbox in Nov 2015 before expiry. I just applied now again via dropbox was asked to book a 221G appointment which I have not had yet.

You can renew before you travel but just have your documents ready in case you get called in.

tmd:
Don't try number 1, firstly I saw someone that was denied at the embassy when I went for my follow up interview based on That, the VO told her she stayed on with an expired visa, secondly what if the CBP officer does not stamp you in for 6months? It's not automatic that you are stamped in for 6months, I was stamped in for 4months sometimes because my passport was going to expire and have read less than 6months on this thread also.
In my opinion, if you are very buoyant, go for 1 week or 10days vacation this summer, then do drop box applying for medical visa when you get back.
All the best.

Supporting Documents for Applicants Seeking Medical Care
If you wish to travel to the U.S. for medical treatment, then you should be prepared to present the following documentation in addition to the documents listed above and those the consular officer may require:

A medical diagnosis from a local physician explaining the nature of your ailment and the reason you require treatment in the United States.
A letter from a physician or medical facility in the United States expressing a willingness to treat this specific ailment and detailing the projected length and cost of treatment (including doctors' fees, hospitalization fees, and all medical-related expenses).
A statement of financial responsibility from the individuals or organization paying for your transportation, medical and living expenses. The individuals guaranteeing payment of these expenses must provide proof of their ability to do so, often in the form of bank or other statements of income/savings or certified copies of income tax returns.

Yeah you are right, re-issuing of visa does not have anything to do with if the previous visa was used or not.
She should just renew before leaving.

Hello house, good evening..just got a response from Nigerian immigration for visa on arrival saying recieved. Does this mean it has been approved or approval letter is different? Please help me clarify. I fly back to Nigeria this weekend.

You should receive approval letters via e-mail soonest. Print the two letters as they are requirements for your baby's trip out of the US to POE in Naija. Please follow up as tomorrow is Thursday in Naija
