My spouse was not ready to travel (good job also.) I explained in an LOE and mentioned the company. No issues. I got my passport stamped and sent to me.
But I think if wifey is not ready to follow, at least the children should be included in the apllication, because whether they go with you or not, you are going to pay for medicals for them as well as a PCC for your wife, the funds must also allow for all of them, so just include them.
Thanks for your response my good friend...if possible I won't mind you sending me a sample of the main contents of your LOE on reason your wife was not immigrating with you since it is exactly the same with me...
My plan is to start my letter thus...

In the spirit of honesty, transparency and full disclosure, I will like to state the following as reasons why my spouse will not be immigrating with me to Canada at the moment;
1.We considered the challenges of relocating the family in one swoop,with respect to issues like accommodation, schooling, getting acquainted with the new environment and most importantly getting a job
2. She has a better paying job (I will attach copy of her appointment letter, payslips and ID card), and so we agreed that I immigrate first and settle down in Canada, afterwhich I can now sponsor her and the kids to join me in a year or maximum two years.
3. This we are positive will significantly reduce the pressures associated with relocation,and enable my spouse, and most especially the kids have a seamless and stress-free transition to Canada.

I thinkit will be difficult for any VO to refuse my application based on these honest submissions

Thanks once again,but I am trying to be as honest as possible In my application....since I already know she won't be immigrating cos of her job, if I now include her and the kids and we get it,she and the kids would have to do soft landing to get PR, then when they fail the residency rule of 2/5 yrs,who knows how IRCC would react, they can even consider it misrepresentation....yes... because they want people they issue their PR to actually migrate to Canada,hence the rule....so getting the PR and not migrating can be punitive because they would have taken the slot thereby preventing some other family who actually want to immigrate the chance to do that.
Also I believe that getting a visitor visa for she and kids to visit in the interim won't be difficult as they will know that she has a very good job to return to

I submitted my express entry profile on May 7, 2018 with my Bachelors qualification which gave me a total point of 433 but I later observed that I made some mistakes while filling out the forms. However, I just completed the ECA for my masters degree and with this, I should come up to 467. I want to ask if I can go ahead and delete the previous account and re-submit another profile. I hope there wouldn't be any problems with this? Please advise.

Opotuniti:

As of 7th June, 2018, when I submitted, it was N14,350 per applicant, the breakdown is below;

Cash was collected at the Lagos Lekki office, had to withdraw at the ATM down stairs as I never saw anyone submit with teller.

Hello everyone,

Please I’m post ITA and I have an issue that I need opinions on.

When filling my profile I stated that I have an aunt as a “Relative/Family” and who would also be my host. Time to upload documents and I’m seeing that I have to show “Proof of relationship” apart from “Family member proof of status”.

Now here lies the issue, my mum and her sister have different dads and as of now my grandma isn’t married to either of them anymore (I have a third grandpa). How can I show the proof of relationship when my mum and her sister never bore the same last name?

Also, when my grandma was married to my mum’s Dad she was a Muslim but when she married my aunt’s Dad she converted to Christianity and changed her name so her name on their birth certificates (when we eventually find it) isn’t even the same.

My aunt wrote a letter describing the family tree but I don’t know if that would suffice as it’s our word against theirs (VOs).

I want to know how I can go about proving this and if it has any effect on my CRS because I’ve been seeing that people are usually only awarded points for siblings.

I think you should go to NPC to get attestation of birth for you mum & aunt. Ensure that the attestation shows their mother's (your grandmother) maiden name that's one way to prove they have the same mother.

An LOE and all those supporting documentation may not be required for this purpose. State the reason succinctly in the space in the form that asks why she is not accompanying you. If you eventually write an LOE for this or other issue, avoid including all that talk about spirit of honesty. Stay professional.

An aunt adds no marks to your CRS, so you do not need to go to great lengths to prove relationship. However, I suggest you remove the fact that she will be your host. The idea of permanent residency is that you are able to handle all your living expenses by yourself without aid from the Govt or family.

There's a reason why family increases your adaptability score, being hosted increases chances of successfully adapting. Though i agree with you that it's not necessary to include the hosting part (keep things simple)

The relationship does add 5 points to FSW eligibility. Based on experiences here some VOs would simply drop it and move on if those 5 points are not essential. But we've also seen VOs that reject or do ADRs for minute details. Is it not a VO that asked for meaning of NEFT yesterday?
