Seriously what impact has a monorail got to the economic growth of Nigeria? List for me at the very least the impact it will bring to the Nigerian economy vis a vis its initial investment.
Like for example the Kenyan Standard gauge railway is essential economically in more than one way listed below:-
1. Links the second biggest port in Africa(LAMU PORT) to the mainland easing pressure on Mombasa port.
2. It has 2 ICD's(Internal container depot) with a storage capacity of 20,000 containers 1 in Nairobi and the other in Naivasha town on towards Uganda.
3. It will link the Lamu port to Isiolo on towards to South Sudan.

Largest Economies in Africa by GDP.Competing with oil and mineral rich countries is not easy if you depend on coffee and flowers as main sources of foreign exchange.We are the largest diversified economy in Africa if I'm not wrong.But we've started exporting oil.We'll soon get our oil money receipts and earn those much needed petro-dollars!

EOPS-Early Oil Pilot Scheme launched by President Kenyatta!

We are exporting some of it before we later embark on full throttle exportation.The early oil export plan is to asses Kenya's oil receptivity to the world market! 70% of of the oil revenue will go to the National Government,20% will go to the County government and the remaining 10% will go to the community around the oil sites as stated in the 2018 Petroleum bill!

Diversification of our economy has been our biggest strength.The poverty levels are going down but the world bank says more can be done.The electioneering period is over and the investors are now more confident.The focus now is to the man Uhuru Kenyatta,the president...we are keen to see if his big four agenda will turn to fruition towards 2022 at the time and year he'll hung up his boots...I understand that the man Kenyatta is keen to secure his legacy through provision of his promises before he was elected.We can only hope and stay upbeat that he'll deliver! Picture two shows the BIG FOUR-the priority areas of President Kenyatta in his last term! I think all African presidents should be keen to deliver on this big four agenda cause the agenda covers priority areas of the 99% of African Countries!

Two thirds of Europe's or America's products are imported from China. Raw materials are outsourced from Africa and exported to China for manufacturing. Ask yourself why the US/China are in a tariff war over trade, coz almost 80% of factories in the US have shifted to China due to availability of cheap labor, friendly tariffs and huge markets.
