a mail for passport pickup without medicals? Look slike a refusal except he did an upfront medical examination then it can be an approval. But if he didnt do any upfront medicals, then it seems like a refusal. But just go to VFS and collect ur passport to confirm. mimikoko: |

Getting a Masters degree with 2:2 is possible if u have a lot of work experience on the course you intend studying. But in the absence of that, You can go for PGD/PGC.. People get TRV with PGD, so far you show ur intention to go study. Horlamidei: 1 Like |

goingforward: Hi goingforward, Once your study permit is approved, a visa foil will still be issued to you irrespective of the valid visiting visa you have. This is to help officers at the point of entry identify your purpose in Canada on arrival and subsequently issue you with the right document(s) for your stay. The category of visa is clearly written on the visa foil. So upon arrival, the officer would ask what you are in Canada for, once you say studying, the expect to see a visa issued for your study permit on your passport. Same as visiting, if you say visiting, your visiting visa must be valid too as well as other requirements for a visit. So in summary, each visa is issued for a purpose and will be clearly written on the foil. Your answers to questions at the POE will determine the one the officer will check at the POE for validity and for issuance of appropriate documents. The only exceptional case is a PR approval. All other previously issued TRV will be cancelled. Hope this is clear enough. Regards. 1 Like |

Biakwa: All things being equal, be expecting response from August. If it is refusals, their decision is always between 3-4 weeks if submission date. So be hopeful 3 Likes |

walecott: "The time allotted for the collection and screening of biometrics is not a part of application processing times. You are encouraged to give their biometrics as quickly as possible after receiving the Biometric Instruction Letter as the sooner an applicant provides their biometrics, the sooner Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada can start processing your application." -- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=707&top= Send them an urgent e-mail explaining that you are yet to receive your biometrics letter after 72hrs. |

Let me say what I have read from the website of most schools in Canada. I think I read somewhere where they said your GPA for the last two years (60credits) of your program should be at least 3.0. I think if MUN says minimum 2.75. They should mean the last two years GPA should be a minimum of 2.75. My thought Moreover, since your relative house is close to the school and can just go to the school/department to find out this information for you or he can call the graduate coordinator and find out. Please I need help, I'm submitting online today and trying to validate this form but it keeps bringing this back... (attached image) after I validate it writes successful and brings the barcode... then I try to save and just to confirm if it truly worked against when I will be uploading I discovered it's still bringing the same error and after correcting it validates but after saving error surfaces again. Also I still have my job and from till date isn't working so I used 2018-07 this month as my (to). I need someone's kind advise... Thanks

O alftdbts: If you are still working there, put today's date there. CIC understands that |

Ratawu: @Ratawu thanks a lot bros, how about the To: dates that comes up as error after initial successful validation. The picture I attached explains my situation. Or can I go ahead and upload irrespective of validation since it's online submission and I do I necessarily need validate/barcodes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by kylexy61(m): 11:12pm On Jul 13, 2018 |
alftdbts: You are getting those errors because you are using Foxit Reader. Use Adobe Reader to fill the form and you should be fine. I know this because someone I was helping had the exact same problem and was solved as soon as he changed to Adobe Reader. |
