This country is just crazy. Just to put this in perspective, a friend met a lady on one of those thier dating apps. Thank God she was honest, she said she has herpes and she contacted it from her ex the very first she had MouthAction. You never know what these beautiful people are carrying...You will now allow someone to come and pour stone inside the undone garri you are preparing...mba

This is exactly what I mean by don't give head, don't take head when it's not safe. Herpes and Human Papilloma Virus are very common here. Of the two, Papilloma virus is so common that 80% of sexually active individuals in U.S have it without knowing because it may be asymptomatic i.e no condyloma, while the body resolves it over time. But herpes, it is incurable, symptomatic and embarrassing when one finally meets that one person one wants to settle with.

If one is going to give head, for guys, dental dam or condom cuts into dental dam laid over female genital area can be used. And for ladies, give head with your new partner wearing condom. Test to see both of you are free, then head can be the spice for your intimacy anytime

Sorry for derailing the thread, just feel like to enlighten someone

Realest Real sh*t I’ve seen in recent times here. Miss sureb0y posts. On your own!!! Make your own way!!!
Robert6708:
Good day everyone, just felt like posting few things on here. Coming to the USA is a first step in a right direction, dont let anyone tell you otherwise, however pls and pls have a plan. i am a newbie here, today marks my 43rd day, school is underway and i am trying to settle in, but trust me there are days frustration walks side by side with me.
I know for most (like myself) its all about greener pastures, but then HAVE A PLAN. be prepared, dont just get visa and come with barely 1000$ to your name. people do that all the time and say they will hustle it tru, you may (or not), but its an avoidable disastrous situation in the making. have plans that will cater for your needs for a minimum of 6 months. Coz to be honest, dem no dey share work for street, and as an F1 holder, you cant work (legally) and the school youre in may or may not have employment opportunities for you.
Again, dont think youre coming with the hope of relying on anyone, the friends family members (except its direct and immediate) you have would turn out more useless than useful (at lest 80% of the time). Be ready to be innovative and be ready to admit all youve got is yourself. Be independent (ask questions regardless), but plam for yourself such that you can stand on your two feet for as long as you become better submerged in the system. if youre coming with the hopes of the friend you have here without your own plans, sorrry you will most likely be disappointed. I have an elder brother here, who is more like my GEE, but i am charting my own path, i only ask for advice and directions from hom, i am not staying on his neck, we are not even in the same state (thats not to say we wont be linking up now and again).
Again, have a plan, go to school, if you wanna stay back, have a plan... have a plan.. even if you forget all i just typed, pls have a plan.. i mean a workable plan. the system wasnt exactly built to favor migrants or foreigners so youve to know youre swimming against the tide, as such u need extra push. its not easy, but its doable. its exciting after getting visa and many people get carried away with the harsh realities theyre coming tp face. have your money, for personal expenses, if youre rich enough get a car. Get a license, make sure you come with ur naija license as this will fast track your license (i aready have mine).
Good luck to the ones still on the hustle to get visa, and for those that have gotten theirs and will soon be here, pls have a plan. i am also a newbie, still finding my way around, no much friends (yet), very lonely sometimes... and to make matters worse i dont even know when next i am going to get laid (Tinder dey dull me grin) but i serve a living God, i know he will come tru for me.
have a great day everyone.

Did you present the original copy of your GRE result or a printed copy? If original, how did u obtain it please?
GraceofGodfollo:
Thursday July 5 , 2018.

I left my hotel (same room i stayed for my last interview) at obalende to the embassy at around 5:30.. Got there around 5:45.. I walked confidently to the crowd.. I am sure they will think dis girl na jjc.. She doesnt know things are tough here, but I actually came to mark my third attendance within the past 7months, my first was Dec 5 then Dec 27.. Those are the days I was carrying Cleveland state university's i20 upandown. .
To kill my moral one girl was asking me some kinda questions like she already knew I be "Customer da da ni".. All my answers were I donno. (someone cannot come and give me bad memories)

By 6am we were asked to come for the security check, I moved quickly to start the line .. After then, they called for 6:30 then I started the line also, cos that is how my spirit leads me.

Got in for biometics was the first and I did it like 5times before it worked. Then I went the start the interview queue waited for like 10mins.. Then the black American lady that did biometrics said somethings.. The CGI girl.. Said I should go and meet her, I was like asking her is it interview.. She was like "yes na what did u come here for " congrats in advance.

She greeted me
My head no quickly booth to reply, so decided not to cos the pace was much already I need to be Real.

Vo: Who is sponsoring you

Me: I got a full tuition waiver with monthly stipends and my mum pays for the rest

Vo: what kinda waiver are u just doing an on-campus job or what

Me : I got a graduate assistantship with tuition waiver (she looked at my i20)

Vo: What does she do

Me: She is a lecturer in the University of ******

Vo: you came here with civil engineering why geoscience now??

Me: I work in the technical department of a road construction company n with my observation, road dont last due to lack of proper soil investigation, this is important to me because i want to consult for the state and federal government projects..

Vo: (look convinced) any test?

Me : yes gre

Vo: let me see

Me i gave her.

Vo: av u travelled out before

No: i had no reason to

She said some things and said congratulations you have been approved with a big smile... I smiled back,I collected my 2 White papers and left like a robot..

(note: it was more like a conversation compared to my previous two experiences...)

Dre are some part I didnt hear her well i asked her politely. like 3-4 times

It was a short conversation but she stood up twice that made it a lil longer than how it looks in the write-up.

As someone who's in medical field, I would help you finish what you said.... And always use condom. Don't take head and don't give head. If you would, always play it safe. Lot of people in U.S are carriers of STIs.

Hmmmmmmm...Greatest input ever

STIs...Spiritually Transmitted Infections. What kind of condom can stop that one? E.g. badluck undecided

This one sink enter my system walahi. I been don dey wonder why these babes dey always die for Nigerians, but all I hear is that we are strong in bed...poo! This word of yours I will hide in my head so I don't misbehave. Just bleeping anyhow (especially with that child support nonsense) RUINS! Thanks boss

femi312:
Just calm down, US not Nigeria. Everything iwrong with Nigeria but we are fairly lucky cases of Incurable STIs are not rampant. Have you heard of herpes? More than 3million cases happen in the US per year and its not curable. Once you get it, its over. You should read more about it maybe that will guide you. Herpes could be oral or genital, oral could be contacted through just by kissing. Many beautiful ladies with kardashian body have this and its not written on the face. Herpes is not an STI people test just for, they only test for it if you show symtoms. I don't know how old you are but life is not all about sex, you won't die if you don't have sex for now or at least get a loyal girlfriend. Lets even forget STIs, you want child support to ruin you? These girls are desperate and you need to be careful.

Good day everyone, please i need assistance here. I filled my DS 160 yesterday although i havnt submitted it.
My worry is that i didnt see any section that required my undergraduate and secondary information which people have been filling.

Is it that there is somewhere i filled the wrong thing or what. I need your urgent assistance please.
I also notice that each question with given options determines the next question to pop up.. Seems i wrongly answered a question.

The section that asked for primary occupation: i saw options like education, student, government etc.. Got confused.. Cause i work with the state ministry of education so i dnt know if to choose student or education. Thanks

From the best I can remember there is no section that asks for University or secondary education
So you are on the right part

Choose Education
It will even boost your profile cos it's shows you are actually passionate about education

Is that child eligible to travel to USA anytime before he/she gets married?

And are they exemptions?

While filling the DS-160, what is the best response to the question WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DENIED IN YOUR LAST INTERVIEW?
Also @ the interview proper, how do one respond to this scary question

In the final DS-160 that led to my visa approval, I wrote the line below:

"Based on my personal reflection, I guess I was not able to sufficiently demonstrate to the consular officer that I qualified for the class of visa I had applied for. Hence, I was issued a 214B"

The above response was just the absolute truth in my case. It isn't prescriptive, but can only serve as just a little guide. Be creative about your response. May you find FAVOUR!
