My Guy go and invest that money in a business you have idea about, a business that if you decide to stop you will still retrieve your capital. 600k land will appreciate in several years. If you don't know any business at all to do find out about phone Accessories the R.O.I is 100percent and within a year you can either double the size of your business or buy a land if you wish.

I want you to read very carefully cos I'm about to share you my life experience.

2015, I had #600k cash with me dat I've been saving to buy a land. I had even gotten a better location through the help of my Inlaw then before a business opportunity came. A football centre, the guy want to sell the business for #200k and relocate. I thought for a second that if I buy this business I will expand it since it's planks and wood it will be easy for me to reconstruct and it will fetch me more money that I will be able to buy the land eventually later.

In short, I invested heavily in it, acquiring more debts.. It took me #950k to complete everything.. In this business, I have football Centre, a tuition Centre and barbing saloon. Of all the three divisions, it's only football Centre that's functioning now. I've even placed it on the market cos I now no longer likely to have time to run it anymore that makes me to be loosing customers.

Today, looking back, If I have to make the a choice between land or business I will choose land. Though the experience I gained from running that business may never be monetized but still, I will definitely choose land.

So my brother, choose carefully... If ur choice is business make sure u make very good research concerning that business very well, make sure it's a business you can do yourself and you have time for it otherwise people will run you down. If you are not ready for all this, I suggest you go for land.

Be wise oooo

Hi brother.

If the land is in a good location(present/future), you can possibly buy it.
But if it isn't, I'll advise you shouldn't.

If you also a Salary earner and still lost in your choices, you can set aside the Money say for one month plus in FBNQUEST Money Market Fund and reinvest whatever Monthly Proceeds it generates while you top it up frequently (say monthly).

When you have decided on what business to venture into, or where to buy the Land, you can simply withdraw your Money.

Bless.

Bro, pls can you bin more explicit on this?

WHAT MAKES INVESTING IN IBEJU LEKKI IRRESISTIBLE

Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos has more investment prospects than the most expensive and popular Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekkki Phase 1 all in Lagos Nigeria.

In the 70’s plot of land in Ikoyi sold for less than #2 Million Naira, but today prices range from #300 Million & above.

In the 80’s plot of land in Victoria Island sold for less than #4 Million, but today prices range from #250 Million & above.

In the 90’s plot of land in Lekki Phase 1 sold for less than #2 Million, but today prices range from #150 Million & above.

Smart investors took the advantage and invested even though there weren’t any international projects within the aforementioned locations and yet they made over 500% pure profit on their investments after a few years.

Now think of Ibeju Lekki, Lagos the "hottest investment zone" in Africa, seating on multi-billion Dollar international projects that will skyrocket your investments within the next 36 months, investments such as:

1. Dangote Refinery
2. Dangote Fertilizer Plant
3. Lekki Free Trade Zone
4. LA Campaign Tropicana Beach Resort
5. Lekki Int. Airport
6. Lekki Deep Sea Port
7. Lagos State Golf Course
8. Lagos Smart City
9. Numerous Beach Resorts

With all these investments in place, guess how much A Plot of LAND will be selling for in IBEJU-LEKKI in the next 3 to 5 years from now?

Our properties range in prices with the best titles, lets work with your budget.

If the 600k is all that you have and you have much responsibilities and without any further/continuing income source, you should consider starting up a business you are well vast in and an authority (if you don't have knowledge about the business you want to start, better learn first and ride on trusted and knowledgeable partners plus your feasibility studies).

However, if you have a income source then I will strongly advise you buy land through a REPUTABLE source and ONLY IN VERY GOOD location where real estate investment is profitable...i.e where Land Banking is at its best appreciating in value as much as 100% within 16 to 16 months. Then you can sell it later at a higher amount to use the money for whatever project you wish. Or simply use it for the purpose you plan it for. This way, you secure your future and Of course there are lands as cheap as 600 to 800k even in Ibeju-Lekki.

If you don't know business to do, better secure your future/money by buying that piece of land, simple. Before you start eating that money little by little and run outta cash. use your head o..

No one is even talking about credibility of such land. You can buy land at good location today then tommorow government would come or legal issues. One should be careful buying land though.

It depends on the type of business you want to go into.

If it is lucrative, I will advise you go into business first

The land will not run away, there is land everywhere

If your business is successful, you can buy a land worth N5,000,000

Land is always an asset. If you wait to buy, it will be less profitable for you. Buy land that isn't too expensive in a developing area. While that is appreciating, you can start a business with the balance and later buy the bus for more business. But the land is always there to fall back on if the business goes South. Buying land or starting a business?

Both are very good, but base on what you're having presently you wanted to choose from two options before you. Decision making. OK

Do you have another stable means of generating income now? and I guess most likely through which you're able to save this 600k (like stable salary)

Buying land is a long term investment (stable, rewarding, high rate of returns) Guarantee. All you need is good location.

Business in other hand is (short, medium and long term investment).

Risk

Land make sure you buy from reliable source and promising location, you're covered.

Business gives inflow of money on regular basis unlike Land, in business you can double your money within short period. But the fact is you can lost it all within short period. Most especially if you don't have sound knowledge and experiences about the business you're venturing into. As it is, business is 50 50 chance, while land is most secured and rewarding but long term goals.

Personal Experience:
I was having little amount of money idle in my savings account some years ago, along the line I met a woman that told me about land opportunity and I key in. I was able to buy half plot with what I was having. Today, the location has really transformed and my little money I put in has appreciated over 150%.

A year later, I've saved some money again that I wanted to use in developing my half plot. I later chose to try a business with that money hoping to multiply it and by that I will be able to develop my land from the proceeds. Alas, within 6 to 7 months I lost everything because I was novice in the business I ventured into. Though I learn investment 101, I didn't give up anyway.

Recommendation
If you have stable means of earning, go for land.
Take time to study the business you wanted to do.

Decision: is in your hands

Fact
Irrespective of decision you're talking, there are consequences. I which you the best.

As many that wanted to invest in Real Estate

I'm a real estate consultant

Sir, in this regard and since you said you have Land already and most likely you're not considering buying another land for you will need your money in exactly one year time.

Your best bet is saving in investment plans with reliable company. You choose one year plan, that guarantee the safety of your money and also yield return in term of interest.

Upon maturity, you will be credited accordingly with any delay, I present Leadway Assurance to you Sir.

The idea presented by the guy was because of the transfer he got from his work which he needed to relocate at that time. But my own failure is down to the inability to realized that the football Centre business is on the decline stage of its life cycle. So I learnt a very big lesson there bro.

In some location, half of that amount can get a land and if you are the discipline type financially, you can startup something little with that.
