That said, why Lagos is richer (I won't say more developed) is because it monopolises the port. This is due to political reasons and nothing smart. So, Lagos is actually Nigeria's molue. All cars come into Nigeria through Lagos. Infact everything comes in through Lagos. So every business has to have presence there. In other words, revenues that should naturally accrue to other states with waterways are deprived of such. The end is getting near. I see Lagos eventually begging for this restructuring. E sweet before, e go soon tide the smart governor. We have stolen water to create Atlantic City. We are also building a second port called free trade zone.
