ngunaniveren:. Texchnically there is no age limit to getting a visa. But the older you are and the longer the gaps from last school attendance, the more burden you face convincing the VO that you would be a genuine student and not one merely using the study route as a means of effecting entrance to Canada. I can see already that you may have been denied based on purpose of visit. So when filing your next application, you have to make sure that your devotion to learning is incontestable. And why they should believe at this age, you would study if the privilege of a visa is extended to you, must be clear and crisp and convincing. Best, Jeremy |

Big congrats! I tap into this testimony. Your profile is similar to my profile and your approval is a glimmer of hope for me. Jephehe: |

I have always been suspecting there is age discrimination going on but the VO are trying to be diplomatic about it and they are not spelling it out. I am also an older applicant and like I mentioned in my previous post the refusal I got didn't look genuine and it sounds more like they just look for something to say. For me it is so depressing, it is similar to racism. jnyuwa02: |

I just want to make a little point from your application to help others and not to misled them. You said you didnt include SOP, but literally you did in Bold Statement below. Sometimes Statement of purpose is not suppose to be too lengthy as we use to write and also we have seen reasons why some applicants are encouraged to write and include one. I wish you goodluck bro. Hello guys, I wanted to ask a question; - How long does the “Review of Eligibility” usually takes? I hope we’ll all have our TRVs. Resting our faith in the most high as always.

Good morning family, i am applying for a pgd in business Management but have bachelor degree in electrical engineering (COREN certified).I am a co founder of an engineering firm(4 years old) but need business management skills to manage my company and take it globally. My husband(Engineer)is the founder but he has a full time job, works part time with the company. My questions are 1) is it too early to apply for student visa for Jan 2019 intake? 2) We dont have a corporate account yet and no tax certificate but have been doing alot of jobs in partnership with other companies . Most funds goes to my husband personal account(salary/contract ). So can he use his personal account to sponsor me? If yes which proof of funds will he show? Is it his full time work details or the company details 3) I don't have a fixed salary from the company(my husband) but get money from him regularly for the jobs done.Should i just generate a payslip for myself? Sorry for my questions, I need help to put all this things together to make a good SOP. Thanks |

I have been waiting to share my testimony on this forum since April the 30th when I applied. Paper submission at Abuja VFS on 30th April, 2018. Medical call on May 25th, 2018. Medicals done at Abuja Clinics on May 28th, 2018. Medicals passed on June 19th, 2018.(It took Abuja clinics two weeks to submit my results, so you should not use them if you're in a hurry) I linked my application online and when i checked today, my final decision is showing 'application approved'. Up until yesterday background check and eligibility were still under review. Documents submitted: Admission letter to the University of Victoria, MSc Electrical Engineering Transcript, Frist Class Honours, Elect.Elect Engineering Covenant University Bank statements of mum and dad Dads employement letter-GM in NHIS Mums employment letter-Acting DM in NNPC Travel history to Dubai, USA, and the UK. No valid foreign visa(all expired last year) 3 landed documents Police certificate NYSC certificate No SOP For all those still waiting for their TRV to be approved, delay isn't a denial. |

Adamwasiu32:You are suppose to receive an invitation letter for biometrics within 24 hours of filing if you paid the appropriate fees. You need to contact CIC right away using the appropriate CSE web contact forum. If you don’t, they might take their sweet time and you will be deprived of expedient time to make resumption in the fall. |

Goldenegg:Who is this one again? This forum is getting too overtly religious. Don’t forget to do the needed work and strategizing and God will do his part on revealing whether he wants you to get a visa or not. Shikenah! |
