what you should have understood here is that such car cost $1.5K tear rubber in the US, therefore being with his wife for 23years, he could have bought a more significant gift... unless, of course, if this "supposed" billionaire living in the US for the last 23yrs couldnt afford to buy his wife a Benz (aka car that even a waitress/Mc Ds supervisor can drive) all this time.
