I have worshipped in the church Headquarters and I have heard him say that severally.

God loves us and HE gave us his only Son. You can't say you love me without giving (not the worldly notion on love).

General overseer and founder of Salvation Ministries Church, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has said that love without giving is fake.

According to him, the first was to prove love is giving. He said this 2 weeks ago during his church sermon.

"Any love that does not involve giving is fake. If anybody ever told you 'I love you' and cannot give you something, cancel that love, it is not genuine love. The first way to prove love is giving." he said.

You're appalled because you're only thinking of it from the money side of it. Giving doe not necessarily have to be money, it can mean, giving your time, attention, care, joy or even happiness. Don't monetise the man's perching. peace be with you.

giving is not only synonymous to money. You can give your time, service, idea etc

Can you beat your chest that you've given to atleast 3 orphanage homes this past one year? You always use pastors as excuse not to part with your money..you say you'd rather give to the less privileged but many of you don't even do that..
