Today at my shop, SARS came to raid a house adjacent me. I did not look in their direction so they don't extend they 'work' to me. I even greeted 2 out of the 4. The car they left with even had to be pushed by them. Now people are saying I should have closed shop in case there was stray bullet. Now my shop is not a lock up shop. Closing it means packing. Running also means danger as they think I'm escaping. Other people too were passing by and the SARS men did not even disturb other occupants in the same compound. If you are in such position, would you run away, lock up shop, pack up shop if you see police 'raiding' near you in case of any potential danger? #staywiseandpositive |
