Nigeria has been praying since 1960 but it seems the more they pray, the more things are deteriorating, your points are valid, until we address fairness, equity, justice, love for one another, punish crime and criminality, reward merit and hardwork, Nigeria can continue to pray till the end of the world and nothing will change, China is more like an Atheist Nation but things are working, Singapore, UAE, and several Western countries do not subscribe to prayers like we do but things are working.

Abeg make we leave matter, God has given us brains to think as a nation so that we can allow him to rest, there is so much injustice, nepotism, tribalism, ethnicity and religious bigotry all over Nigeria
