Please tell us the year Finidi George was rated the best winger in the world.

He never made it into any FIFA XI neither was he ever on the bench. He was never considered for any African not to talk of World awards so how can he be rated as the best? He has never been Nigeria's best player at any point of his career sef.

Why do Nigerians like claiming imaginary titles?

a 7 like Finidi George
an 11 like Amuneke
a 10 like Okocha
an 8 like Amokachie
a 9 like Yekini
a baller like Kanu

Garba Lawal played the 11 well after Amuneke. He deserves some credit.

We have also not had a defensive midfielder like Oliseh. In short, we have lost our place in football. In 1994, we were the 5th best team in the world and we had the finest winger and crosser of the ball in Finidi George. I watched some of our matches in 1994 and I saw how Oliseh used to make long passes from our half and the balls would reach the person it is intended for. But today, our players just boot balls aimlessly.
