How Glo is censoring your browsing

Glo whether purposefully or not denies it subscribers access to blogs hosted on Google's blogging platform, Blogger making use of custom domains.

Ever wondered why you couldn't access naijacolumn.com.ng or naijatechguy.com when you were browsing with your Glo sim here's why.

The only way to go about this restriction is to make use of VPNs or proxy browsers like Opera mini(with data savings on extreme mode).

This restriction affects thousands of blogs worldwide. Even foreign blogs are affected.

I knew something was wrong but couldn't pin point it.

a thread was created over this months back, there is something not right about globacom, whenever i use the network i always feel a man in the middle listens to my traffic.

Trying to visit www.jarushub.com via Glo network has not been possible for over a year.

Glo can do better if popular blogs cannot be accessed on their network.

Okay, try hostdey.com then.

It's probably because most of the blogs offering glo network cheats are hosted using google's platform.
Scratch that -- all the blogs offering the cheat use google's platform.

There is no friend in business. The CEO will rather ban google as a whole than invest financial resources to pinpoint the offending blogs and block them individually.

Sorry but it's actually a Glo problem. This sites are available when they were using *..com but setup a custom domain and Glo can't load it anymore

Try doing so on a computer.

It's seems Glo has fixed the issue as the blogs load now
