I know of various super inteligent chatbots that can speak english, so how about making one that can speak our own nigerian pidgin.
Am checking it out, though its gonna be a rough ride considering the level of informalities that plagued the language.
i just went through some website that had a little list of pidgin words, so i will control C&V that to use for this project.
But another blockade is grasping NLP principles to make not only syntaxtically correct sentences but as well semantically sound. sample of whatamin-
User: hw u dey?
Chatbot: nothing dey shele.
User: wetin be ur name?
Chatbot: my name na Okoye. i be robot o.
User: okay me ma be Christain. I go see you later na.
Chatbox: okay, later tins.
I think i can slash it out to various sections.
Greeting.
Compliments.
etc.
I just wanted to drop it here incase someone buys the idea.
