Diversion of funds from stabilization funds, ecological funds, and all other such funds will continue except we put in place legal mechanism for accountability and transparency in the administration of the funds. The problem is our law that keeps creating bogus funds without putting in place any mechanism for accountability and transparency. The stabilization fund is one of those funds that the president exercise presidential discretion over without any control measures put in place. The funds will continue to get diverted to something it's not meant for or mismanaged and completely stolen irrespective of who is the president except the laws governing them are changed. |

Ejimagift:Would it have been a crime to get the funds through proper procedures rather than move funds illegally just because they can? So if someone steals food tomorrow there's nothing wrong because he has a right to food abi? U people should stop supporting nonsense in d name of politics |

| Re: 2016 Audit Report: Presidency Illegally Moved N14bn To Establish Army Barracks.. by Nobody: 6:39am On Jul 25, 2018 |
koboko69:Answers: at the bolded, diversion is minimal, stole, looted, thieves, rogues should be the word. According to the report, the overpayment stood at N837.082 billion as cost of revenue collection by the two bodies. There was also the issue of zero collection of oil revenue for some period. |

Firefire:2016 audit report = Audit of 2015 Calendar Year financial Transactions which obviously cut across GEJ/PMB Why point finger at PMB when the alleged diversion could have happened in Q1? |

buhariguy:did you read the audit reports at all ? Or you just want to start an illogical argument. The reports states how ministries operated financially with reckless abandon under the very nose of the not too aware buhari. Relax by the time buhari is out these reports will be worked on .surely he and his appointees have a lot of explanation's to make. |

jaybee3: Section 85 (5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended), empowers the Auditor-General to submit a report on the audit of the Accountant-General’s Financial Statements to the National Assembly within 90 days of receipt of the statements from the Accountant-General of the Federation.Read the bold part, it was for the year ending Dec 2016. A year runs from Jan-Dec, nothing to do with 2015. Incompetent louts couldn't even submit until June 30, 2017. Even at that they couldn't get it right, all efforts to doctor the books and hide discrepancies failed despite attempts to submit and re-submit until March this year. Next time read well before making poor attempts at obfuscation of facts. |

We will know how far when Buhari leaves the presidency. Ans something keeps telling me that Buhari might not be seen after his tenure. We will just hear that he has gone back to UK and may not come back. Story ends. |
