A senator can never be equal and not in the same level with a governor.

It takes 3 senators and 9 house of reps members to make a governor. Why will a single senator wanna show power over a state governor.

Where was El Rufai when Shehu Sani was battling abacha to get the democracy that made it possible for El Rufai to be a governor today?

Politics is local. You must know your electoral worth before pushing your ambitions.
Shehu went to Abuja and started frolicking with Saraki forgetting that they have entirely different backgrounds. Whereas Saraki is a seasoned politician and solidly on ground in Kwara, Shehu is a novice in politics and simply rode on the back of Buhari to the Senate whom he appeared to have stabbed at the back.
His political future can only be decided by the same people that projected him in the first instance and he should thank his stars if they treat him favourably.
