I think you asked the wrong question. It should be what language should I start with, because basically, android programming is Java and web programming could be Java, PHP, ASP etc...

Maybe u state what u wanna go into or u have interest in, that way yr question will have meaning, web is general; can't run away from it cause u might use Api's, but android mobile is specific. So be more specific in yr questions.

If you do go for web, include React in your list of technologies. You won't regret it.

Learn Web development, you can branch out easily to android or ios development using tools like React native which you can learn during web development

In becoming a software developer your job is to be able to develop for any platform. It's OK to specialize in Web, desktop or mobile but nothing stops you from doing all of them. With C# and dot net core, you can cover all of them. Simply get a good book and look out for the following content.

Asp.Net core razor pages and MVC -WEB
XAML and fluent design -DESKTOP
XAMARIN.FORMS -IOS and ANDROID

You use C# for them all and they will be cross platform. Good luck

A programmer don't just focus on mobile or web platform. A programmer can work on both platforms depending on the project.

It depends on what works for you.
Web has a larger ecosystem: more developers and jobs.

C# is bae

C# gives you all these abilities in one fell swoop, using visual studio. MVC 5 for your web and web api. xamarin for mobile and wcf for desktop, all using one IDE. How cool can that be? You dont have to waste time learning brand new things everything. Using C#, you can do it all.

The best is to go into web programming. Both knowledge are interwoven. It becomes quite easier with web programming knowledge.
If the question is which one is the future. Then Android is the future bro. In 10 years, No one will want to go through the headache of opening browser and loading pages... That's too slow.

You"ve said it all. With the use of javascript, you have all out of the box.

Both are good, but I will advice you to go into web development. In Web development you can choose to be a Frontend Developer , Backend Developer or Full Stack Developer. To be a Frontend Developer you should learn JavaScript, Jquery, Angular, HTML 5, CSS3. To be a Backend Developer you should learn one or more of these technologies: Java, C#, Php, Python or nodejs. A full stack developer is one that works on the Frontend and Backend of an application which means you have to learn both technologies.

Web development is better, if you understand it you won't have problem in mobile app development.

Web is demanding but first what programming language are you going to work with? Java, C, C#, Python and lots more are out there and each has different web framework to work with. Python in combination with Django can give you the best web development experience but it all comes to understanding of language of your choice.

Plus are you going to be a back-end developer or a front-end developer? Ask yourself different questions and when you find the right answers then you can make your choice!

A good web developer should have at least 75% knowledge on how to link his work with android, IOS or Windows.

Android apps pay much or pay less depending on the usability but web developers make their money whether you use the web or not because it's just a contract between them and the organization.

Check your interests, your talents, environment you want to work including the mentality of such people, marketing strategies on how to make yourself a brand and it's not necessary you learn different programming language.

Hope this will give you little guidance on your choice!
