This one has nothing to do with suppression of information. The method was so simple.

They actually know that its easy to tip Nigerians into the hatred of ethnicity and religion so they sent mercenaries to start the first attack on a helpless Fulani settlement and then claim some other persons or a certain ethnic group were behind it and the rest of the mayhem would just spiral from there.

What PDP are doing is an emotional war. They are deliberately triggering the emotions of gullible Nigerians along religious and ethnic intolerance so hatred would push us to kill each other and in this case, their guinea pigs are the fulanis who they want to blame for everything just because the president is also a Fulani.

Although Buhari isn't doing enough to combat it, maybe its just me, but it seems fairly obvious that there's a lot of serious resistance to his govt by the usual set of corrupt politicians and the media isn't helping- its easy to divide Nigerians along ethnic and religious lines, and the people controlling the media are largely politically influenced. Sahara Reporters seems to be the least biased news source, and based on their reportage, if you actually examine this whole thing objectively, it looks (pretty clearly) to me like politicians are desperately fighting back. I've never seen this much resistance to one administration in Nigeria, not even state governments when the opposition gets elected.

Only a few like Amaechi, Shehu Sani, Fashola, etc seem desperate to be on the right side of history despite their questionable past dealings. The mass defections in my opinion seem like a desperate last ditch attempt to return Nigeria to the way it used to be. I just wish it'd be possible to uncover everything going on behind the scenes.

I changed my mind about Sowore and will be voting for him because right now it isn't about his ability to perform but his ability to fight against the 'cloud' of politicians holding this country ransom, and he seems fearless enough. He's an outsider as well and if he should get in, I want to have faith that he'd be dedicated to fighting againts corruption. Economic development can come next. President Buhari is good but not effective enough and there are too many moles around him- and he can't shake them off. He ran under the APC and that's the price he had to pay.

This is a fallacy. Boko Haram was created by PDP. They killed their leader in police custody and refused to do anything as they took over the northeast. Their defence adviser pockets over $2billion meant for defence. Was Dasuki an APC man? That's how a kindergarten pupil will think.
