Recall that the National leaders of the All Progressives Congress were told on Sunday that for the Kwara State chapter of the party to be united, loyalists of the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, should leave party.
All those who got appointments because of their affinity with Saraki should also resign or be fired, the party leaders insisted.
The decision was taken after a consultative meeting by stakeholders, led by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in Oro, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State
