We've just seen PDP received 782 billion dollars from oil receipts.

Can anyone show us what they did with the money?

APC has received only 94 billion.

Your misleading article says it was written 5 years ago right?

5 years ago makes it 2013 and this is from a newspaper in 2013 where Jonathan admitted to failure in handling Lagos Ibadan expressway

http://thenationonlineng.net/lagos-ibadan-expressway-jonathan-admits-failure-begs-nigerians/

And here is another newspaper article in 2015 when PMB took it up when Jonathan was unable to get the 167billion to fund the project.

See them bigoted souls.

Who supports boko haram or herdsmen.

I stand against the lies your kind propagate against the president.

Did you think I was trying to hide my support for the President? grin

You need to go for brain surgery if that was what you were thinking.

I stand with PMB come 2019

You can grab an electric cable over my choice. Its your funeral
They have nothing more to hold against PMB than the phantom "Fulani herdsman" crisis which they created.

When they talk about one supporting "herdsmen", show them this picture of their hero and quietly walk out on them.

LIEEEEESSSSSS!!!! shocked shocked

I plied this route yesterday (2:15pm - 4:45pm) and today (6:45am - 8:30am) to Ibadan for the #GOTvBoxingNight15 and back to Lagos and I can tell you it's still very bad. There is NO presence of construction workers or their trucks and machinery. I fear work may have been abandoned unless it's because it was weekend (Sunday/Monday morning).

Over 75% of the road is still pothole ridden. Commuters used one lane (Ibadan->Lagos lane) at some point.

Nonetheless, there's a portion of the road (7% - 10%) that was a smoooooooooooth ride. The construction looked strong and durable. I kept asking myself what it would take our govt to have all our highways in that beautiful condition. I wish seriously all our highways will be like that portion.

Notice the time stamps below?
I bet there are many REGULAR users of the said road on this forum.

1. There is on going work on the road (you acknowledged you traveled on a Sunday and returned this early morning . . . once in a long while and you think you are qualified to make a valid statement about work abandonment?).

2. The good portion of the road is between 40-60% (with perfect drainage . . . first time that road would have that . . . I have been plying that road for over 40 years both as a kid and an adult).

3. For the bad spots, those used to be very, very , terrible spots on that road, but are temporarily patched to enable better plying of the road till work gets to those parts.

4. The good portion of the road would still be tarred again for perfection and lane demarcations imprinted.

5. That road would have been completed since last year if the pace of construction as at late 2016 was sustained, but no, Saraki and gang took all the money. God punish Saraki and his gang in the senate for slowing down the progress on that road for their tummies.

6. Fashola is the most effective high-ranking public servant in Nigeria and the most qualified to be president in a sane country.

P.S. That road would have been perfect for now and the future (going forward) if an additional separate 2 lanes could be constructed for trucks, and heavily tolled.

989900:
I bet there are many REGULAR users of the said road on this forum. | Does been a regular give one better experience of the said road than one who just did and is reporting his experience same day?

1. There is on going work on the road (you acknowledged you traveled on a Sunday and returned this early morning . . . once in a long while and you think you are qualified to make a valid statement about work abandonment?). | YES, I am qualified to make a VALID statement because I plied the road. It is a road and not rocket science. I wasn't on a hover board. I wasn't under any influence. I EXPERIENCED the road twice.

2. The good portion of the road is between 40-60% (with perfect drainage . . . first time that road would have that . . . I have been plying that road for over 40 years both as a kid and an adult). | LIES!!! Mediocrity is a poor state of the mind. Your "good" is a death trap in saner climes. Travel and see. Leave Nigeria to better societies and you'll know how mediocre your statement is.

3. For the bad spots, those used to be very, very , terrible spots on that road, but are temporarily patched to enable better plying of the road till work gets to those parts. | You mean the potholes littered everywhere are patched spots? Don't play politics of propaganda with human lives.

4. The good portion of the road would still be tarred again for perfection and lane demarcations imprinted. | I hope so.

5. That road would have been completed since last year if the pace of construction as at late 2016 was sustained, but no, Saraki and gang took all the money. God punish Saraki and his gang in the senate for slowing down the progress on that road for their tummies. | BLAME GAME. Failures love excuses and blames.

6. Fashola is the most effective high-ranking public servant in Nigeria and the most qualified to be president in a sane country. | Laughable statement. You're now being childish. Remember "stable power is not rocket science. I need only six months to fix Nigeria's power problem". It's been 36 months.

P.S. That road would have been perfect for now and the future (going forward) if an additional separate 2 lanes could be constructed for trucks, and heavily tolled.
| Let's finish the one at hand before building castle in the air. Good suggestion albeit but merely wishful as $1 = N1

This is an ongoing project.
In trying to give a 'balanced'view you ended up making no sense.
Either you agree the government is doing a good job on that project or you disagree.

3 years is still a poor record when in London they can build 70 story building within 2 years. It's not like they are building a bridge it's a flat land they are using. By the way we paid tax and resources so please Buhari is not doing us a favour it's our right. He is not using his money.
Which jungle are you writing this poo from?
So over 160km and arguably the busiest road in Africa spanning three states of the federation has no bridge?

What and who has bewitched you? Please free yourself and your mentality from that gorilla forest
