...........says Saraki is hero of our democracy

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has hailed the Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki and Kwara state Governor Abudulfatah Ahamd for dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Prince Secondus said that democracy is the huge beneficiary from the actions of the Senate President and Kwara state Governor because the on going political realignment would help to deepen democracy in the country.

The National Chairman said that the duo were abnitio not supposed to be in APC but having been there due to a circumstance, events in the ruling party since 2015, does not encourage democrats like Saraki and Ahmad to continue retaining their membership of such undemocratic body.

According to a statement issued last night by his media office signed by Ike Abonyi, in reaction to Dr Saraki and Gov Ahmad's dumping of the ruling party, Prince Secondus said that Saráki is hero of our current democracy having gone through all the humiliations in defence of legislative independence, freedom and rule of law.
"They have done everything to humiliate and cow him into submission but he did not yield as he defended democracy all through

"Dr Saraki and his colleagues in the parliament tried their best to curtail the dictatorial tendencies of the executive and it was for that they are being hounded.

Prince Secondus then urged other democrats still staying in APC, to note that democracy would be better served by their exit as Nigerians are very well determined to not only save our democracy but indeed the country.

Finally, the National Chairman assured all lovers of civil liberty and rule of law in the country, that the rebranded and repositioned main opposition PDP is now well disposed to provide direction for the sustenance of the nation's democracy.

Signed

Ike Abonyi

SA Media to the National Chairman.

Let's put it this way, they left because of their slim chances of seeking reelection.

It's just greed. You've been in office for 8 years and you know your party won't pick you again, then you jump ship with frivolous blaming and accusations.

we are witnessing a great change in the Nigerian polity. this change is the change that will change the change

Those of you living in Abuja, FCT that have place value on their vehicle should bring in their vehicle to our Ultra Modern Vehicle Repair Facility for a specialized computer based diagnostics backed by a comprehensive manual diagnostics procedure that would figure out anything at all that is wrong with your vehicle. Now the beauty of our service is that after the diagnostics we recommend actions that must be taken to put the vehicle in order, If you run any of the repairs in our workshop we will return the money you paid for diagnostics back to you in full. Last week Tuesday, there were news of defections and counter defections (APC-PDP-ADC-APC) (If you know you will understand)

*Siege and denial of siege by the authorities.

*Impeachment allegations (Senate vs Presidency)

*We started this week with impeachments (Kano and IMO states) and counter impeachments and suspensions (Benue state)

*This Tuesday, another story on defection again especially from the APC to the PDP.

***If I may ask, do we expect the likes of Oshiomole, Tinubu, Ameachi, Laid Mohammed and so on to follow suit next week Tuesday?

And eventually, Mr President?
Just asking though.

Because, in Nigerian politics, defecting and cross carpeting is sweeter than winning election.

Yes of course. The APC and their online warriors are shamelessly consoling themselves with the “Baba will win with a landslide victory without the decamping members" gibberish. They have forgotten so soon how Baba contested for three good times without winning. He couldn't even win the same Kano they are shouting he will win, he will win. Not until these decamping members came together and helped him win after three attempts.
Shortly after the election, the narrative changed. It became; they won because of Buhari's influence. Which Buhari please? The one that with his so called popularity failed three times? Swerve please... We shall see his popularity come 2019, after those that helped him before have finished deserting him.

Definitely good. Now the enemies of the country are gathered together in one place and are easily identifiable. Since they started defecting, there has been no blood shed because they are all in a happy mood and have not had time to give orders to their mercenaries to cause trouble but their joy will be short lived. Owo ti ogede ba gbe ara 're lo ma fi na. Hand wey banana tree carry na himself he go take strike. Their days are numbered.

Wole Soyinka on PDP Defection

IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem.
I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.
The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway).
For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues.
Happy reading:

1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki

2. I didn't give order - Jonathan

3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu

4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George

5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa

6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.

7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi

8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.

9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda

10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki

11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.

12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.

13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.

But I believe, it is the right thing to do.
If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.
