That is why, in so many discussions, you will hear, let me ask my pastor etc. In marriages, naming ceremonies, death and burials, the religious institutions dictates the rites. In traditional African cultures it is the community, the cultural norms, but now, it's the Churches and Mosques, but again in Nigeria, they are more interested in collecting money and tithe, most especially the churches.
