This is how you know the Churches and Mosques are not helping in anyway. There is no avenue for checking up on each other, no family ties and no value anymore, its all focused on money, money, tithe and tithe. Imagine, this went on for eight whole years, since the man's wife died. Was there a Church member or pastor to check up on this man and see how he and his family are doing after his wife died? Were there Youth fellowships and young adult whatever, that keeps taps on the welfare of the youth most especially the girl child to ensure this girl has protection?
