Yes he ought to be investigated like a million of them. But this is selective prosecution as usual. Its just purely political vilification as we have come to know with our government over the years so it defeats the purpose. Using the institutions of government as a tool of political warfare....There can't be anything worse.

We know that we will never be able to get all the theives in Nigeria, at least not in one go.

So I am pretty happy that people in high positions now know that it's possible for them to be brought to book.

As long as you're not a bigot or sentimental person, this is good news. I'm totally in support of anything that brings corrupt people to book, regardless of who it is and how.

We need sanity in this country!!

I am fully in support of prosecuting public officials when found culpable for corruption charges while in office.
However, selective prosecution will not take that money they stole or would have stolen from government coffers into your pockets.
It's disheartening that this action is being taken because the senator is in the opposition and we have numerous cases of serving officers from the ruling party walking the streets freely.
Does that make sense to you?
Does that have any semblance of unbiased prosecution?

If the opposition party gets into government, the same charade will happen again. How does that move this nation towards Eldorado?

I weep for the future of this nation.

For anything that happen or that will not happen to those who once looted this nation and ran to APC, blame it on PDP under GEJ. Nobody was in opposition party during PDP era was exposed and dealt with like we see in APC regime.
If pdp has done little then, the equation will be moving close to balance.

Ekweremadu have been in government since 1999 with key positions, I don't think he have any case to answer bcuz he should afford those properties. I only see this present government as fighting so hard to dent Ekweremadu's soaring popularity.

With the type of allowance and salaries these guys are paid, a down payment of less than 10 million can get you a mortgage in most westernised countries.. Guys on far less than these senators own more than five properties in UK sef..If he is buying them outright, then that's a different issue..
