We need State and Community Police
Is that the solution If it is, I'd like to see it being implemented but I doubt.

I pity Adamawa if they still vote APC.

........ only a zoo like Nigeria where someone cannot hold peaceful protest.

......... I was talking to someone living in Benin republic, I told the person to visit Nigeria. He said no that's he's afraid of the country (I.e herdsmen and BH). I felt really bad. Who did we offend?!

I chatted with a Chinese friend and was ashamed when she started telling how bad and dangerous Nigeria was undecided I had no option than to tell her i'm a Biafran

Protest was disbanded for the Protesters' own good

Imagine one Boko Haram suicide bomber letting himself off in the middle of those protesters

Adamawa is bad enough as it is sad

I am Pro-Christian but I must say this protest was undertaken at the wrong place at the wrong time..

How do you fire live bullets at people for their own good When was the last time any of those policemen fired live bullets at boko haram or herdsmen for the good of the people
How about stopping the terrorist as a means of stopping the protests?
Nothing you imagine will justify the conduct of the police.

Eziokwugbaoto:

Bro, every man to his opinion though.
First of all I personally think Protest is not an act of rebellion. Shey na democracy dem say we dey practice (am not even sure) they should be ready to welcome protests and complaints every now and again because these are some of the things (to say the least) you see in a democratic system of government. It's just a way the masses show their disapproval on some policies of the government but when some lowlives and undiplomatic fools let their emotions get the better of them that's when it turns violent and I can never recommend violence to any individual or group of people as a means of lodging a complain or showing their grievance towards a certain policy. Things like these happen in the US and other developed countries and you won't hear that their men in black tries these nonsense ours are doing and I know how freaky those whites can be but the cops try as much as possible to settle every civil unrest amicably.
Secondly, the bible passage you cited. I'd like you to throw more light on that. I'm still not able to link that verse to what happened in Adamawa as at the time of typing this.
#peace

Thanks for your wisdom sir.
I do not speak comparing Nigeria to other standards but what the Bible says.
Of a truth, rebellion and judgment are 2 major snares the devil uses to entrap us and we keep falling every time due to innocent ignorance. But ignorance has never been a tenable excuse before the law.

Rebellion is wide, so is judgment. Biblically even criticising Buhari or any incumbent leader is judgment and comes with its spiritual come-uppances. Criticising servants of God is the worst, yet that's what we all do online. Lastly, criticising one another as peers is also wrong and obviously we all tear each other down online acting like trolls and no-fans, etc all in the name of Like and Share. God help us all.

The ultimate solution to the problem of Corruption in Nigeria is also in the Bible. It is so basic and simple that we don't pay it attention, in fact if I mention it now, you will likewise say it makes no sense.

But I'll share all the same.
Sin by definition means Corruption.
We all agree the problem of Nigeria is Corruption. Yet we have carnal men trying to solve the problem of sin.
Of a truth, it's only a Disciple of Christ that can solve the problem of Nigeria.
Notice I didn't say Christian?
Christianity has been turned to a Religion. But a true Christian is one who is Born again, who is Like Christ both in Nature, Leadership and Power. We have that in some Men of God and even some Brothers in the Church. But only a Disciple of Christ can solve the problem of Nigeria.

We can all attest to the sudden improvement that was recorded across sectors when Osinbajo took the mantle as Acting President while President Buhari was sick. It was not a fluke, it was not luck. It was God manifesting. It was Divine Intervention. It was Light Obliterating Darkness. It was the Winning Seed of Christ Prevailing over Sin and Corruption.

Truly, no matter who we vote in the coming elections, it's going to be business as usual. Unless we vote for one Who has been purged of Sinful nature as a Disciple of Christ only then can we conquer Corruption, only then can we have Peace and Prosperity.

He that has ears let him ear.
God help us all in Jesus name.
