Can everyone take a seat please? It’s going to be quite a read.

It’s my turn. grin

PPR has come to the glory of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

It has been a lonnnnng but rewarding experience here on this thread and in this EE journey. I have learnt a lot through months of research and waiting. If you had told me anything about relocating from Nigeria before the second week of August 2017, I would have rolled my eyes at you in apparent indifference. I was never one for living abroad. I love visiting on vacations, buying plenty stuff and coming back home. However, one day at the end of the 2nd week of August 2017, I was in the car with my husband, on our way to work and I remember vividly how I stumbled on Testden while browsing through the internet that morning. I decided to read a little and I just became fascinated with the practice texts and solving the questions. A colleague of mine who moved to Australia last year had been harping on about migrating, but I had no such plans. Hubby and I are doing quite well here, and I am also so close to my parents that the thought of staying so far away from them kept me from taking the leap.

.
The part where you talked about your parents really GOT me. plan on me moving to canada came suddenly, even though i nursed the idea some couple of years ago, i quashed the thought. BUT NOW THE EMBERS ARE GLOWING AND CANNOT BE QUENCHED. congratulations. MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NOT REGRET YOUR DECISION TO IMMIGRATE.

People of God abeg make una help me o.

I have been on IP 2 since mid-June. So I decided to send an email to know both my visa office and the status of my application.

They sent the email below:

.................................................................................................................................................................................

Good day ...,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Download application forms and guides
Change of address
Check your application status
Help Centre - To find answers, you may consult the different sections or type keywords related to your question.

Sincerely,

Mathew, Agent 4029
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

...............................................................................................................................................................................................

Please is there any clue to the visa office from this email? Secondly, is there any inference to be drawn on the status of the app?

If you have received a similar email or know someone who has, kindly share. Thanks.

At 25, you shouldn't be considering PNP. Have you gotten the highest possible scores in IELTS? What of your spouse? IELTS, ECA?
At the very least, look for other certificates (diploma, masters, ANAN, ACCA etc)
PNP should not be a consideration right now

Also for POF, if i get a Gift Deed from a family who is giving over three-quarters of the amount needed. Will that suffice? Any additional information is appreciated
Hi fellow OOUITE
yes gift deeds from a family member would suffice, it doesn't matter if it is 3/4 or 100%. just include the letter stating that the family member is giving you. concerning the reply i have replied earlier

Please can i use three years working experience form different employers? And the different reference letter from them? Please is it possible ? I want to try and start my processing with my BSC instead..amd please what is the point you must acquire on the calculator to get an invite ? Please Newmum..drop your email address..yoy have some babies here that wants to reach out . THANK YOU GUYS
there is no fixed point to acquire, points garnering depends on your possessions in terms of your IELTS score, whether you have a brother/sister in CA, your age e.t.c do a simulation first on the crs calculator. concerning three different employers. I BELIEVE you should be able to use that, so far it is related to your field of study.

Please, please, please don't lose faith o. The French might not be a bad idea as it will give you an edge in four provinces: Quebec, Ontario,New Brunswick and Manitoba.
Bloggerina18:
Congratulations @Newmum0615, I've been waiting to read your testimony cos I see the way you selflessly assist others here. May Canada favour you in everyway.

Meanwhile, I came here today coz I feel so discouraged. My CRS is sitting @ 425. My birthday is this month, minus 5 from my score again. Ielts was quite good so no need to redo. I won't finish my MBA till Sept next year and am just so frustrated. CRS has refused to drop, Ontario never call me, if not I would have paid the fee gladly. Cant find any other PNP. My NoC is 6314 so its not in demand anywhere. Hubby's NOC is IT and those New Bruswick people went to go and add French language to their requirement. Abeg where I wan see French again. Abi what else can one do?

Mummychichi:

Hello dear. Please don't loose Faith. This journey teaches plenty of patience. Don't give up. I know it can be very tiring and frustrating especially when your job is not satisfying. Concentrate on finishing your masters. Your husband should also consider enrolling for French classes. I think all you need is 4 months at allyon francaise.

Weeping may last the night but joy comes in the morning. It will definitely end in praise.

"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves."

This is why this thread will continue to grow. Because of you and many others who have selflessly shown kindness, even to "strangers".

Congratulations once again!

Good morning beautiful people of Canada.

Thank you all for the wonderful felicitations and prayers. I am humbled by this show of love. I pray that we will all have reasons to celebrate. May God shine His light on our ways and make our dreams come through.
I don't even know where to start responding to each and every message from but know that I see everyone of them and I say Amen to your prayers.
I appreciate you all. I am not going anywhere anytime soon. This is our thread. We die here grin

I think you should do this or aim to get a 1 year masters degree from a school like Unilag if you are not in a hurry.
I wouldnt adbice anybody to wait on pnp if they still have avenues to explore.

I don't think you should consider PNP just yet. You have age on tour side.

You can drop your parameters here so we can assist with simulation- age, educational qualification, ielts scores, do you have up to 3 years experience? Same for your husband or you can do it yourself here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Good evening everyone..

Glad to be here, just submitted EOR for ielts for 8.5,7,6.5,7, hopefully I get a positive feedback soonest.

Asking for a friend.
He got PR earlier the year which he applied for in Europe. He decided to show face in Naija before leaving for Canada. He then thought to marry his fiancee legally so he can apply for her visa when he lands before they complete marriage rites next year, so they can go back tougher.
Few days ago he realised, he has to declare he's married and CIC will take away his visa and process his wife's own along with it which will take extra time.
The problem now is, he doesnt have pof for himself anymore talkless of showing for his wife. He has bought a ticket already to leave before realising if he doesn't declare his spouse he might run into trouble of misrepresentation and may never be able to sponsor her.

Please what can he do cos he got married legally 3weeks ago and his ticket is for this month

Your friend doesn't have a choice but to declare the addition to the family composition. He also has to work towards making up funds for PoF for two, that too is not negotiable. While he's at it, he would have to open his ticket so as to use it at a later date.

As a matter of fact, he MUST NOT land without declaring this update, if he wishes to have his family in Canada.
