It shows TWRP wasn't flashed very well.

Tip: After flashing twrp, immediately press and hold the volume up and power button until you see the mi logo then release the power button while still holding the volume up button till it takes you to TWRP menu. Twrp won't be flashed successfully if you first boot into your system.

Na personal choice. If you are used to stock Android, you go detest miui. But if you are used to other roms, then give miui a trial.

Gurus in the house, I need help please. I've had my Redmi 5 for like 6mnths now and it's been amazing until recently.

It hangs in apps and homescreen. It won't respond to gestures and even menu keys, scrolling will now feel like I'm pulling a weight. It resolves after I lock/unlock sometimes, other times I just have to leave it for like 5secs.

I've tried removing many apps, restricting many too.
Cleared cache and data.
Stopped sync and auto updates.
Even removed screen protector.
I tried switching from gestures to keys but still no solution.

I updated like over 2 months ago so I'm not so sure if d problem is from d last update.

I'll appreciate your help, I just need to find what's causing me this headache.

I'm currently on China Rom
