Igbo is the greatest tribe on earth, a couple of nonsense from none progressive cowards won't deter it.
Insult my tribe and I lambasted yours.

OMG. Did you understand my post at all? Lemme make it simpler for you: Other Nigerians DO NOT hate or envy igbo. The notion that Nigerians hate igbos only exist in your wild imaginations. I am doing you this service of disabusing your mind so you dont pass the persecution complex to the next generation of igbo kids.

No son, I think you are one that needs help as you obviously can't read.
First of all, this thread isn't about other Nigerians hating Igbos or not. You just brought the dumb topic to this thread and stupidly thinks anyone cares about you.
You can see clearly how dumb you sound by talking about other Nigerians bla bla bla.
I've told you here severally, that you and your likes means nothing. None cares about your hates and likes as it doesn't mean anything to us. Long before Nairaland in NaijaRyders and NigerianVillage square, we have been telling your likes to take your likes or how you feel and shove it.

No son, I am not a trader. I'm at my office and can decide to take a week off. Some of my brothers are controlling real estates in Abuja, Lagos... Some of them are shooting movies in the most popular African movie industry. Some are producing new vehicles...

Now, isn't where I tell you to concentrate on your jadi jadi concoctions and 2 feet tailor shops?

We are proud.

We are confident

We are overzealous

We are lion hearted.

We are brave

We are fearless...

We don't know how to sugarcoat the truth... We say it as is, even if it will hurt you.

No tribe has been so vocal about the disintegration of Nigeria as the Igbos for the benefit of others. But today, those who were against it can see the Igbos were right.

Igbos are not diplomatic when they wanna speak... They tell you the way they feel... Unlike others who would be scared of getting you angry.

It is true that Igbos don't have anything like loyalty or slave mentality .. In a igbo community, a 5 year old son of his father can speak up in the midst of elders without fear and he will be heard.

I [s]love my tribe, i agree. But i have since stopped dissipating my energy hating on igbos. It is meaningless as igbos can never change. I have come to accept them for who they are.

So i think opening useless threads on who hates who does nobody any good. Why dont we use our intellect and vigor to discuss about money or burning national issues? How many yorubas have you seen opening threads to discuss or hate igbos again? None! We have moved on to other relevant issues like Buhari and the 2019 elections.

Thats why i keep saying most yorubas dont have strength to hate anybody. We are mostly busy with our daily lives in Naija. It still doesnt mean we love our adversaries, but we have accepted them for who they are[/s]. undecided grin

They should be running Nigeria. If they were, the nation would be a prosperous major world player instead of a useless wasteful dump. I'm Black-American or African-American if you prefer, and even I can see that they would be much better off as a group if they were to separate and form their own nation. The handing over of political and military power to the North was biggest mistake ever made in that nation. Actually, I'd consider such a move as a strategic move made by the British to insure that such a potential future African powerhouse never manages to grow to anywhere near its full potential, by places the gov. and military leadership into the hands of the totally incompetent North would knowingly insure such a situation exist. The most obvious and natural choice to be handed such a complex and challenging entity as Nigeria were the Igbo or at least the Yoruba aka Southerners. They had and still maintain everything it takes to develop, grow and maintain a strong prosperous Nigeria. Without the South the north would be even more of an ultra violent, backward and decrepit place than it already is.

Only very few Nigerians see the Igbos like every other normal human.

The British saw them as overzealous and very independent hence, felt the Igbos cannot be trusted with power- The very reason for their mock war and hand over to the North.

The North see the Igbos as very proud and domineering, hence the speech by Ahmadu Bello that it's better for them to get an expatriate, than to employ the Igbo man. They fear he will gradually domininate them in no distant time.

Gowon was so scared of them that he economically reduced the Igbos to 20 pounds. Still a wonder to his cohorts how the Igbos have grown economically again.

The Closer brothers of the Igbos, the Igalas,Ijaws, etc are those I don't even understand, they share many cultures and even igbotic languages but have been deceived by the North to fear the Igbos, hence the continuous creation of states to alienate the Igbos from their Igboid brothers and from the Ocean all to cage the liberal spirit of the Igbo nation.

The rest of Nigeria is unnecessarily scared of the Igbos.
The Igbos are just normal people who are trying to survive in a country that have always suppressed them.
A view sold by the British.
Igala at the southern boundary share culture with igbo not the entire igala. Igala shares culture with alot of other tribes in Nigeria as well Jukun,Ebira,Bassa, nupe, idoma,Yoruba, kakanda, hausa, bini,Arago, agatu etc that why most people call Igala the Wazobia tribe.

Swahili people are tiny group of people in an Island with a population of about 2 million. How can a group of 2 million people be the most popular people in Africa?
Do you even know the difference between Swahili (language) and Swahili (ethnic group).

I agree, Zulu is popular but are they the most popular in Africa? Hell no!

Hausa has the most popular language in Africa but are they popular as people? Nope. How many Hausa people are popular outside Nigeria and Africa?
Is there any Hausa culture known across the world? Certainly not!

How many of African American heritage is of Hausa ancestry?

I don't want to derail this thread, maybe you should open a new thread on this let me reply it in full.

The language being spoken in more than 5 countries makes Swahili tribe quite popular. Remember I said popular

Language and other influence makes a tribe popular

There's no tribe in Africa that covers much land mass

Furthermore, majority of the African Hollywood/movies always incorporate the Zulu language into their movies because of its popularity in southern region of Africa, even in south Africa, it is the most spoken language despite the presence of other tribes in that Country.

Finally, Hausas are quite popular because of wide acceptance of their language in west Africa. the Hausas and cousin tribes can also be found in countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Benin etc..

Although because of the fusion of the Hausas and Fulani tribes. one can say thesame about the Fulani tribe

So let me spell it out

Eastern/central Africa: Swahili

Southern Africa: Zulu

Western Africa; Hausa and Fulani to a great extent

That is my criteria for judging popularity.
