He is on like 5million Naira per month. This doesn't even include all the bonuses and allowances per match. No wonder he is fighting to keep the job lol
And we already know how much he likes money

On the other hand, the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup has so far received low publicity. Can't even believe the tournament is starting in few days time. We only hope our ladies will do us proud.
NFF crisis is still on. Dalung utterances of recent show that he is backing Giwa.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that at least five European clubs will be present at Matmut Atlantique for tonight's eagerly anticipated Europa League qualifier between Bordeaux and their Latvian opponents Ventspils.

It is confirmed that Austrian Bundesliga side Altach, Danish Superliga team Brondby, and Ligue 1 duo Strasbourg and Toulouse, plus German outfit Freiburg have requested for tickets for the match.

The aforementioned teams have been instructed to run the rule over the young Nigerian duo Adeleke Akinyemi and Tosin Aiyegun, with a view to a transfer in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old Akinyemi has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, including six in the Europa League qualifiers, while midfielder Aiyegun has tallied 5 goals and that's probably why several teams are interested in signing the two youngsters.

If the two players live up to expectations against Bordeaux, they will increase their chances of being invited to one of the national teams in the near future as Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is expected to be among the spectators on Thursday.

Bordeaux won the first leg 1-0 thanks to Zaydou Youssouf's third minute strike.

We can explore the phrase to check its validity. Or are you saying it’s set in stone because someone coined it?

BascoVanVeli:
There was not one shred of my opinion in that comment. I simply said an African leader coined the phrase.

Manu should call the boys and beg them. Those that know they don’t fall within the age bracket should honestly say so and leave. The rest should still be subjected to MRI before heading to the hotel. It makes the process less cumbersome.

U17 AFCON Qualifiers : We Are Suffering, Golden Eaglets Coach Manu Garba Cries Out
Less than one month to the West Africa Zone B U17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Niger Republic, Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba is worried over a lot of things.

The compulsory MRI tests have not yet been conducted, the players live in deplorable conditions and are ill due to a malaria attack.

''We have been clamoring for it for long. The NFF has given approval for the MRI test but unfortunately we are still waiting for money to be released so that the MRI can hold,'' Manu Garba said.

''No matter how good or how young a player is, once he doesn't pass the MRI he cannot take part in the competition.

''When the MRI is conducted we will know who is eligible to participate in the competition so we are worried.

''The NFF should try and make it to be conducted during the week so that we can know those who are eligible for us.''

Manu Garba has also carpeted the Nigerian Federation over the nonpayment of bonuses and allowances to the technical crew.

''MRI is the major problem but the players themselves are not staying in a good condition. Most of the players have been down with malaria.

''With the number of players we have, we cannot take all of them to the hotel, that's why I said MRI is our greatest problem.

''After the MRI, we reduce it to a sizeable number like 30 or 35 that can go to the hotel for maximum concentration.

''Secondly, since we entered the camp, there have been no allowances to the coaches, so we need the NFF to look into that aspect so that it can motivate us to do more,'' he concluded.

In their latest friendlies, the Golden Eaglets, who didn't qualify for the 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup, beat Siaone Academy and Derby FC 3-0 and 4-0 respectively.

Ok, I see Obafemi Awolowo is natural grass.

But look at the standard do you think it is of AFCON Standard?
This Stadium ain't Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, rather Adameisigba Stadium, the Home of 3SC. The Turf is artificial, not natural as some Folks are saying.

We ain't ready to host any International Competition especially AFCON 2019, except TBS turf is replaced with natural Grass and the Onikan Stadium is completed as scheduled.

Abuja Stadium only requires little touches. Uyo Stadium is ready same as Adokiye Stadium. Also I read it somewhere that Udom is building another massive, world standard Stadium in Akwa Ibom, Eket Town precisely - if it's true and can be completed by December - then we are good to go!

However, if the Eket Stadium ain't gonna be ready before December, then Sanni Abacha Stadium should come to the Rescue - turf only needs to be replaced. The standard is OK!

Akwa Ibom - 2 Stadia
Portharcourt- 1 Stadium
Lagos - 2 Stadia
Abuja - 1 Stadium.

My brother, to come out at this stage (having come thus far) and admit to be above the age bracket is difficult. The mindset in camp will be "We die here" smiley smiley smiley

Why do we often lower the bar when it comes to the most important things? If it were personal possesions we would want the best wrist watches cars etc as long as we could afford them. If we sincerely think Nigeria is the Giant of Africa, we should have very high standards and hold our leaders to it. If we can’t present the best AFCON experience ever in 2019, we should simply forget it.

I love my country as well. I’m only disputing that we are the Giants of Africa. Let’s be true to ourselves. At least we are not debating with other Africans now. If we can’t be honest with ourselves what can we now demand from our leaders?

The Eket stadium? Do you know when the project was kicked started and how far it has gone? My brother forget that stadium , it may not be ready even in two years. Besides do you know it's capacity?

Sani Abacha stadium, Ahmadu Bello stadium, Nmamdi Azikiwe stadium, UJ Esuene stadium, Liberation stadium, Obafemi Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa stadium are all outdated and cannot just host a major tournament as the AFCON with the little touches as you guys describe. They need major over haulings and renovations to meet up with the current standards for the AFCON.

And Onikan stadium, I have not seen the most recent pictures of it but if you know Onikan, Marina, very well you would know there is little you can do to expand that facility due to space constraints.

You mentioned two stadiums in Lagos and I would presume the other is the Teslim Balogun stadium. What I can ask you is "have you visited the stadium lately?". Go see the extent of decay for your self.

Lillestorm just lost 6:1 on Aggregate to a club from Austria, LASK. Beaten home and away. Both teams are average in their countries.

This is the standard of the Norwegien league that some of our top players are failing trials to.
