APC Youths Renaissance has reacted angrily to the irresponsible action of the Ebony State Governor, Mr. Dave Umahi for banning APC rally slated for this Saturday in the state.

We wonder why a governor who took the oath of office to defend the constitution of Nigeria in Ebonyi State would be the very one violating the same law in which he is a custodian.

Hence, the irresponsible action of Mr. Umahi in banning the activities of APC members in the state is outrageous and unbecoming of a governor who truly understands the limits of his constitutional powers.

APC rally in Ebony State is not a privilege but a right enshrined in the constitution.

Governor Umahi has no power whatsoever to stop the APC rally in state under any guise.

If Gov. Umahi could exhibit crass ignorance on matters concerning the law of the nation, we wonder how he has being governing the state in the last three years?

How can a governor who cannot respect the simple freedom of association enshrined in the constitution continue to govern a state whose citizens are law abiding citizens?

We thought that as the Chief Executive of Ebonyi State, Governor Umahi should have acquainted himself with the basic knowledge of law and as a result ought to have known that it where his right and that of his corrupt party stops that another party's right and that of it's members starts.

For falling this simple test of leadership, we hereby pass a vote of no confidence on Gov. Umahi and ask him to resign from office with immediate effect.

The said stadium is under construction which isn't such a nice place to conduct any form of political rally atleast for now. How is it difficult for anybody to understand the situation on ground before calling out the governor makes one insane.

They should use the alternative as earlier directed. Everything shouldn't be seen as politics as understood by the guys in APC.

APC have been spreading falsehood that umahi will decamp to their evil fold ,this is a sign of disgust from the governor.

Your opinion is not totally correct.
Governor Umahi truly wants to decamp but d problem is there has always been 2 factions in Ebonyi APC since Buhari won elections.
Umahi was probably plotting for a possible presidential contest probably by 2023 if he joins APC.
Of the 2 factions,1 is led by Ogbonnaya Onu,who though comes from d same Village with Umahi, but they don't see eye to eye. 
Another factor now is d recent troubled times APC is passing thru which makes them no longer a very viable option.
The rally was to be done by the Ogbonnaya Onu's faction and d refusal was also directed at them. 
Another truth is that d stadium has been under reconstruction for a while now,though I doubt he would have refused if d request came from the other faction whom he enjoys a mutual respect with.

APC is not good. but Umahi is the worst thing that has happened to Ebonyi State. no sane ebonyian will want Dave back as a governor in 2019.
I'm not a fan of APC but I don't support umahi at all.
