To whom it may concern:

We have never dated, nor will we ever do any such thing. I look not to expound beyond the "friend zone" because, to be quite honest, it would just be too weird. And I take comfort in knowing your feelings are mutual.

You help me pick out what to wear on a date, and I tell you what to ask the guy you're dating (but not actually dating?) about his truck so he'll think you're really interested.

You tell me what to ask a girl when she sends a vague text, while I caution you to be careful when he asks you out again but seemed a little strange the first time around.

To my best friend who happens to be a girl, thank you for giving me an inside look into the chaotic, insane, emotional train wreck of the female mind.

We've said before that if it's at all possible, you'll be an honorary groomsman at my wedding since I'll hopefully still be closer to you than half the guys standing beside me.

By the same token, you've jokingly
encouraged me to be a bridesmaid during your nuptials. Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass on the dress.

We have the weirdest, coolest dynamic in any relationship on Earth, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We've been through more together than anyone outside of our two person inner circle will ever know, and I'm grateful that you're someone I can always count on, even when we live so far apart.
I invite you to my graduation party, only for you to be bombarded by all my aunts who can't figure out why we haven't kissed yet or why you don't seem to hold tight to me the way a girlfriend would.

You ask me to your date parties when you can't find a guy to go, and I hate when I can't make it because I have a test the next day and it's a 2hour's drive.

We both love SEC football, and even though I'm the author of this article, you're a better writer than I ever could hope to be.

You make me a better person, and I see things in you that make me want to improve.

In a totally non-romantic sense, you make me a better man, and I mean that. Now wipe off the tears because you'll smear your stupid mascara.
They say guys and girls can't be best friends, but you've shown me that that's possible. You've also shown me all sides of the coolest girl I've ever known, and for that I'll forever be indebted to you. Love you bud.
