Consumers Protection Council NG in conjunction with NAFDAC, today, shut down Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Victoria Island, Lagos, following regulatory issues with the shelf life of their raw materials.

According to the Director General of CPC, Babatunde Irukera, the move became necessary on account of serious regulatory violations with using expired doughnut mix and fillings.

Imagine! A whole Krispy Kreme using expired ingredients. What they will never dare in the US. I don't get all these craze about useless franchise. Can't they copy the China model? Why can't we have a localised or Nigerian owned doughnut brand? Why can't we have our own version of KFC and the likes?

Krispy Kreme is a reputable American brand ,loved by all please you folks shouldn't use your fraudulent ways to soil their reputation.
They should change their name please
