Well don't be too quick to dive into conclusion. From what you are saying this happens only when the brake is depressed. so it means something rubbing against moving part. The only thing I can think of is between your rotor and callipers.
PS, How close is ur tyres to your wheel arch on the side making noise?

A solara is just a coupe/convertible camry V6 same drive train etc but solara is a less marketable toyota, the resale value is poor because Nigerians generally have no flare for 2door vehicles.

you need a radio technician for this. If a fm transmitter works ok too then seems an IC on the radio unit is faulty, one that controls sound of CD player
