What does that have to do with the fact I stated? Does Norway being ranked 1000 in Europe change the fact that Brann is in their first division?
Forgive me if I have presumed wrongly.

But within that statement there is implied positive progression.

My comments are saying that i do not think that is progression in the context of football. However, looking at the low pay that players get in Nigeria, going to Norway may seem like a big step up.

Off course that was my point earlier. The impact these graduate can make in the fast changing world. Those who made impact in the Industrial Age of yesterday will be left behind in this new age and the one after. Universities should be aware of this and should be quick at updating their curriculum to keep up.
Graduates from the aforementioned public universities are still making impact home and abroad. Gbam!

You should have known that most of the students applying to these schools are mostly the best brains in the country. Even rich kids are many in these universities, therefore, it's expedient the best comes from these schools.

However, UI for your information, is doing everything to remain the best in Nigeria and become one of the best in the world.

What is stopping them is funds. That also can be said about other public universities. The structures is already on ground but fund is issues.

If the government focuses on Education, I don't think the Private schools stands a Chance.

Now, read.

Build them first...worrying about viability in an import dependent country, Africa most populous country is pure propaganda...

Not off though they got someone in same position. They actually went for the two from the outset as one would be a back up to the other.

It is true that we have moved from ranking states as first world, second world and third word. Hence the transition to developed country, developing country and underdeveloped country.

If we are to promote the Nigerian brand concept we would refer to ourselves as developing nation. Which can still be the old Second World nation.

Now nations that are largely in developing countries such consist largely of BRICS nations except Russia. BRICS is a fusion of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. These counties are miles ahead of Nigeria. From TaTa vehicles in India, to Marcopolo buses made in Brazil. These are global brands. Mind you the Chinese still refer to themselves as a developing nation despite how much many of their states along the coastal region are miles developed beyond Singapore.

Look beyond this to the north south gap. Economic power. Organisations like GATT and WTO have only proven to favour the North which refers to the western world.
This is simple political economics. It's a hard pill to swallow, but we must first admit it that we are a Third World country.
India is not better than Nigeria in terms of poverty. My guy you go thank God if you know about poverty rate in India.

If Russia is developing country why America or UK no mess demselves around Russia?

According to the western world definition Russia is a developed country. Even Brazil and South Africa are better than Portugal.

Nigeria is not a poor country. The problem is distribution of wealth and that can be tackled by making and enforcing labour laws that will determine the minimum wages a Nigerian must receive by hours depending on their level of skills.

It doesn't make sense after government pumps money into educate then one will earn small wages.

This is the practice in Japan and South Korea.

For example a graduate most earn one thousand per hour while those without education must earn five hundred per hour. No employees must be fired without 6 months competition etc then you will see how we all improve

4:0 Trencin walloping Feyenord.

They will have to do a lot to overturn this in the second leg.

The truth is most of you here shouting 3rd world upandan are ignorant about the recent development going on in this country. This explains why you are not aware of the solutions profounded to resolve the congestion in Apapa Port.

Interestingly, most if not all of those players are GBS Academy graduates. Add to that; Kingsley Madu, Moses Simon, Hillary Gong ans Samuel Kalu who all made it from GBS through Trencin.

Some people still argue we aint got good Academies down here

Yes, they have an arrangement with the academy.

Trencin has done well for Nigerian football unlike some no progress clubs, our players end up in.

The club also plays good football...the players off the ball movement is good..and they are really making money from selling these players...our clubs gain nothing...just the academies...something must be wrong somewhere...it is our clubs that should be gaining from these transfers instead of academies...only in Nigeria

When Dutch football was strong, Trencin will harvest nothing less than 6:0... Quite shocking how the Dutch have detoriated.

Azango has played in the NPFL but he was loaned to plateau United by GBS Academy.

So the Academies are the ones making the money from these transfers.

The success story started with Simon Moses, Rabiu Ibrahim and Kingsley Madu when the helped them win the league for the first time in their history.

Actually, Nigerian players did well for Trecin.

Try to understand the larger view of the discussion....not just awarding contract to Dangote because the road was bad or building truck parks to ease congestion..these are palliative measures..we are a large population that needs good planning to spread development in different city centres...i used deep sea port to make an example...keep your lagos
