Hello guys, I am planning on travelling to Benin republic and Togo next month. And I need some information about the two countries. And will be spending two weeks. A week in each country. I will be traveling by road. I reside in Lagos.

INFORMATION ON
1. Documents required
2. Transportation fee
3. Accommodation
4. How they behave towards Nigerians
5. And any useful information about the countries

I stayed in Benin Republic for 3 months to learn French in 2004. You don't need any document to travel there, just hold ur international passport for sake of identification. U can stay in any Ecowas country for 80 days without passport.
Nigerians are well respected based on our Economic power over them. 1 naira = 1.5 CFA. Rent there ain't expensive.

Never tell Togo girls u are from Nigeria, if not they will not leave you for any man. Nice country and peaceful. I would have giving you a name of an hotel where u will be paying 2000naira per day

Lol ppl funny,, well I school @ benin republic for 3years round up last year had my resident permit there,,, when to sell off my stuff late last month,, so my advice for you is that your number 1 problem start with Nigerian immigration at the boarder ,, so if you are the type that don't like arrasment hold your passport for stamping either international of ECOWAS passport,, first time stamping cost 5 to 7k depend on how sharp you dey ,, that stamping on both Nigerian side and Benin plus buying and stamping of health card ,, that is if you want to cross legally,,,,
but for those that want to cross illegally once you drop at seme cross to ur left you see bike enter anyone with green uniform he can charge you 1k bargin to 500 ,, and ask which road him dey follow if it that left road you are on track,, but if he say right seat down nothing no gree ooh,,, Note : don't look like jjc at the border keep calm no fear,, and once he cross you telling to take you to topa park,, enter those station wagon that the locals enter it 500cf ,, don't enter flashy car that their policies will stop at sekanji beging dey ask you question once the car get to topa you drop, find bike to locate your hotel

Note : cotonue ppl like to milk Nigerian once dey see say you no hear French,, so starting from bike man shine your face ,, also if you are going to togo once you drop at topa park pick a bike to deropo it dosan 200cf or tell them you go in to to go park you see cars calling lome,, save trip to you guys I don hand over my key to my landlord I for accommodate ,,, they have Obama beach,, funny place,, citail beach quite place ,,, good hotel expensive ,, poor once go for less,, short letting rooms available ,, lot of night clubs ,,, misebo market you get cheap cloth shoe and bags ,,, topa market is for food items ,, before I forget withdraw enough money at the bank areal at the boarder before you cross change ur money from those black market merchandise at the front of either uba or zenith,, keep ur cash save, as per say since when baba enter he ban the use if master card ,,, but should in case you shot of fund go to topa you see some Yoruba ppl there changing money most of them accept transfer and they give you cf

food you will see spaghetti ruse or blonch ,,, poule =(chicken) lakayei(fatty yoghurt with condense milk) cassava bread sokon,, flower bread suclee,, them get big/fat/plump babes they have warn them to be careful with nija guys oooh,, but money will still entice them,, 24/7 light ,, then you can use your I'D card or passport to get sim at either glo or mtn / moov office to stay connected,,

Thanks for your comment. Please can you recommend and cheap and nice hotel I can lodge in cotonou n how much would it cost to hire a taxi that would take me sight seeing around the city for a day
