Liar. PDP was able to garner only 21% of the votes not 25%. Expect that to reduce to about 8% when it would be Buhari against an outsider.

As for that of Cross River, APC was able to secure 25.1% of the total valid votes. Expect it to remain so or even increase during the Presidential polls which would be between two Northerners.

You should be worried that Buhari who wasn't able to secure 7% of the votes in this area in 2015 can now boast of 25.1% of votes for his party there in 2018.

With this result, it's safe to say Buhari would have the required 25% in all the South South and Southeastern States.
Lol, I thought some of you were ranting that Ayade was working for Buhari, Why only 25%?

My dear, the reason Apc got 25% is because its house of reps, during tge presidential election, they won't get that much.. Even Apc officials won't vote buhari. You can screenshot this

How much I like Buhari supporters.. Hahahahaha when I read all of una posts here praising a man who has shown so much incompetency, I wonder where u guys are from.

Seriously speaking, I am not a fan of any politician because I personally support any leader who can tell me how he wants to restructure the country into loosed central govt. The current structure where our leaders tell us to pray when killers come to us is useless already..

However, none of my posts will make sense to u. The only thing I do is when any sai baba comes to beg me for money, I show him money and tell him, no no. Go and lick the ass of ur politicians.. I have done it to at least five Buhari supporters so far this year..

Also when I see those aboki sai baba, who are poor and hungry, I simply hire them and pay them poorly and over use them. like the ones who helped me carry bags of cement to my site. They suffered eh smiley

Do u know why I treat them like that? They are the reason politicians dey Bleep us up..

How can u as a president tell us that u hate leaders who waste money to travel outside the country for medicals, we thought u would come in and stop it, rather u came in and became the only president in modern democracy to stay 3 months outside his country for medical treatments..

And yet u still have people support u. This is not about pdp or apc, Bleep naija leaders.. Ass lickers of sai baba or his type will hear wire from me, except they don't need anything from me.

APC got 25% in Cross River State? Thought some guys said Buhari's (2019) defeat in the South South and Southeast would be worse than that of 2015?! Thought they said they passionately hate APC in this zone?! How come APC was able to garner such votes?!

APC has made so much inroad into the South South and South East and I won't be surprised if Buhari secures 40% of the votes here come 2019 as against the 5% they got in 2015.
Why the APC candidate got over 4,000, is because he is from Cross River State.

In presidential elections, Buhari can't get such votes in those area.

If I have to go by the logic these days, since APC got almost 25% of the votes, it must mean PDP should be very afraid in 2019. After all, it'll be one Fulani herdsman against another cheesy

I think we are all either missing something or we simply do not care. If Buhari is a man of integrity, can we say the same of others under him? We should not forget that rather win elections using their own names and performance, many corrupt politicians use Buhari's name as their key to success. That is why rather than talk about themselves, they talk about Buhari. Everyone please shine your eyes and vote right. Vote out bad leaders irrespective of their political parties.

Like I always, the South East and south south are too republican to be moving like cattles with herd mentality from party to party following politicians. They are almajiris and yoromuslis who would follow bombhari and thiefnubbu from APC to devil's mission party (DMP) if they decamp there. cheesy

indeed some people's brain are under their armpit. is APC Buhari or is Buhari APChuh? u should have asked who the APC candidate is to his people and not to take any vote for APC as a sure vote for Buhari. mind u that the electoral papers are different for each post

This is my annoyance with politics. Why would they give his wife such role. Not that she is not capacable but it obvious it is a compensation.
I have similar situation in my constituency. The woman is a total flop.i have never heard speak or do any activity in the house rep. Worst I have never even seen her face or a picture of her wtih her fellow members of the green chamber.

Towards election, she starts sharing wrapper and drilling bohole...

Why don't they give it a competent hand. Tomorrow someone will tell me to get my PVC and vote! Vote my foot

Oga, it doesn't work like that. In Anambra guber election, APC can easily secure 20-30% of the votes cast, depending on their candidate cos they are still seen as brothers even though their party is hated. In presidential election, it's a different ball game. Remember APC came 2nd in the last gubernatorial election ahead of PDP. Can you then assume that APC will beat PDP in presidential election in Anambra?

You sound objective.pdp fans are even more annoying and i can mention several.the truth is that pdp will win in their usual ss/se base while apc will win in ne/nw.the tie breaker will be in nc/sw and apc has an edge there.we would also see how pdp will perform without federal might for the first time.

These personalities may matter in local elections where the contestants are from Anambra. When it comes to presidential election, APC will find it hard to get 25% talk more of winning. But yeah, I think APC will get more votes in the SE now than in 2015. Considering that there is a slim chance of APC presenting an Igbo candidate in 2023, these Igbo politicians in APC will work hard to get more votes for Buhari next year so that handing over to an Igbo will be made easier, even though we know it's going back to the SW.
As much as I hate to admit it, Buhari will win this election.

That's my LGA, the APC candidate is a true son of Obudu who is widely support on the premises that the pop candidate was only married to the late Legislator and had never been to Obudu until the day of her husband burial.
It's not about Buhari or APC. YOU can see that the APC lost even in this circumstance.

We're talking about a State House of Assembly election in Cross River State and you're talking about Buhari? I don't understand you people.

Do you think Cross River voters are as uneducated and hopelessly daft as the typical Northern voters who only know how to chant 'Sai Baba' like brainless zombies?

The House of Assembly elections was between two locals who both have following and sympathy among their fellow locals. It's a purely personality based election, burnished by the strength of the party machinery.

In the presidential election, it would be about Buhari and the unanimous desire to get the fool out of there! Everyone would be united in getting the bastard out. He would not even get 2% of the votes in states like Cross River unless the APC rigs the election, which would not be allowed to happen.

You people need to get this thing very clear. Most Nigerians - apart from the illiterate 'Sai Baba' zombies up north - are conscious of Buhari's failure and are patiently waiting to vote him out. Let's not conflate issues with all these inconsequential LOCAL state assembly and house of reps elections between PDP and APC.
