Some have been working elsewhere but do visit their PPA occasionally.
These same thing will happen to the 2017 beneficiary.

Some people are working and the pay is less than 25k, 30k. Even in abroad where wages and salaries are far better, people combine jobs and it is not a big deal. Only in Nigeria you see masses telling each other that no one should combine 30k a month job with 25k a month job as if 55k is even enough to live on.

Sometimes the Npower official are the cause of this kind of sharp practices being carried out by people. The posting is suppose to be as close as possible to someone's place of living. How can you post someone to a place he will spend N1000 daily and expect the the person not to start thinking of all this sharp practices.

My wife was posted to a place that will take her N1000 transport daily and she ask for a change to a school very close to our house but those guys blatantly refused. Now do you expect her to be going there every day, the transport a lone will cost her N22000 in a month out of the N30000 stipend, it's only a fool that will do this.

If they refuse to change the posting, she cannot be going there every day, the highest I will allow will be 3 times in a week.

You need to do something about the posting.

If you can combine it it's not a crime. But most can't. They don't show up at their place of work at all and collect salary from npower. Heck, I even know some students in my school that get free 30k from npower. What is wrong is wrong. The people abroad that someone used as an example show up to both of the jobs they're paid to do. Its easier for them because they're paid per hour. If one job has a maximum of 40 working hours a week then it makes sense for them to add another job if they've exhausted all the working hours and still need to earn more. Maybe npower should switch to hourly payment too.

But please let's learn to condemn what's wrong and stop trying to justify it.

See comments from leaders of tommorow. If you already have a full-time job, you shouldn't be working with Npower. I know people that are Npower beneficiaries but still have another job after leaving their PPAs in the afternoon, but their are some state civil servants and some private workers that aren't going to their PPAs but they are collecting the 30k, this is just a corrupt practice from these set of people.

This reveals the failure of the N power. Business should be market driven. This is just welfare. For many to avoid their ppa and nothing happened to the jobs shows they are fixing people surplus to needs if any.

NPower should rather have deployed these people to small business to learn some skills and also help grow the business. As it is, it is not clear to me how the billions have impacted the business environment. Who retains them after the year? This is all sounding like I am describing NYSC.
