If your recorder app is working, might not be your mic. Why not do a hardware test?


To do a hardware test, Settings-about phone - kernel version, tap it repeatedly until it leads you to where to do the hardware test, locate the mic test and try.

Max 2 has 2 mic, 1 on top and the main mic for calls at the bottom. Try to do both test whisper silently into the mic of the respective test and see whether you will hear your voice.

This is what I meant. I think there should be an all apps button at the center or by the side of the screen. It has only home button. To locate your apps, you have to stroll side ways

I guess you're asking for a button that brings all your app lists right? Most Chinese fork android roms don't come with that, all your apps shows directly on the home screen.
If that key is very important to you, download a third-party laucher like Nova to get it.

Go to Settings - Additional settings - Region, from there you can change your region. Be warned though, when you change region, some additional region specific MiUi apps gets installed.
So in your case, changing to India will add some apps targeted to the india market.
