The part I don't get is she's showing off someone else's success. If she was the one who made the money it'd make sense but she doesn't have shi shi to her name. She only possesses the last name of a successful person.

What's the essence of showing off? What has it benefited you?

Growing up in poverty still doesn't justify showing off. Not that I care whether she shows off or not though!
