BascoVanVeli:Yes because that is where they have developed competency. Why do you think NFF never appointed likes Keshi, Siasia, Oliseh, Amodu and co to coach the Super Falcons? |

jimmyiovine:Igbo proverb " when a little bird (Giwa) has the boldness to dance in the middle of a foot path, that bird has a hidden drummer (Dalung) in the Bush. Giwa will never take that offer, if he does not get it, let everything scatter. We have two options: 1. Federal Government to direct the Attorney General to vacate all cases in court pertaining to the NFF leadership tussel. 2. The National Assembly to immediately pass the NFF bill which has a provision that in case of disputes, all disputes will be settled by FIFA and CAS. Our local courts will not have jurisdiction to handle NFF matters. |

Icon4s:I am glad to say you are the fist person I am reading this from since the tournament started Lots of people have said Ajibade has failed to live up to expectations, and I have seen more accolades for the Goal Keeper than any other member of the team, also, considering Ajibade has NO goals to her name, it is funny how she can be the best over a player that has won a Woman Of The Match award in this same tournament. PS: Yesterday's goal against China is listed as an own goal. So, how has Rashid at distinguished herself? |

BascoVanVeli:Zambia FA organised MRI in June/July. Early screening can help you remove the overaged and still give you time to prepare a team. We waited till the last minute. Can't the coaches do a proper screening process without MRI. We can reduce the headache of this, every year. |

safarigirl:I have followed this team right from their first qualifiers against Tanzania in Benin. I watched all their home games live in the stadium and clips of their away games. So I am not just judging from the WC proper. This team is very average compared to the past U20 teams. The only star among them is Rashidat Ajibade. The goal keeper too has done well having to replace the former first choice Onyinyechi. But I would nt be surprised to see Ajibade as the first from the crop to get the Super Falcons invite. |

Icon4s:I know Rashidat from her secondary school days at St Joseph secondary school, surulere. I have a strong attachment based on how long I have known her. But, if I were to be fair, frankly she hasn't delivered as much as I had hoped. With such abysmal performances at the group stage, she wouldn't even bench a Courtney Dike of 2014. Clearly our goalie has been better and most likely would be in the national team. This Rashidat can't bench oparanozie, neither can she bench asisat. Maybe an honourable bench member. |

BascoVanVeli:Coaching female teams is a different ball game my brother not because they don't want the job. Are you telling me some of our NPFL coaches would not jump at the opportunity to coach the Super Falcons team? Coaching the female teams are a lot different from coaching male teams o. |

If we are talking Super Falcons Main team, Ajibade will only be the second to be invited from this crop... Someone in this current U-20 team has already made her bow for the main team. Unsurprisingly, she is Chiamaka Nnadozie, the super goalie of the team. She debuted for the main team against France in that 8-0 bashing. If we are talking Super Falcons overall including both the main and home based teams, then Anam Imo, Kemi Famuditi, And even Glory Ogbonna have made their bows at the WAFU tournament. Chiamaka was again present in goal. So uhmmm.. Dad.. Biko rephrase. (But I agree that this set is not as super talented as the previous classes of 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014). Even the class of 2006 was very good.Icon4s: |

M7even:Yes, I know she has not yet lived up to expectations in this tournament but that girl is quality for her age. I saw her demolish defenses during build up to this tournament. So I know what she is capable of. I agree she may not be able displace Oparanozie at the moment but she is surely one for the future. I see her joining the Super Falcons soonest. |

TheSuperNerd:Well I didn't watch that France friendly so I didn't know Nnadozie made her debute. So well, if I may rephrase, hahaha, from those that are yet to get the invite to the Main Super Falcons team, Ajibade has the brightest chance. And i hope she shows her true class as the tournament progresses. |

Ajibade won't be in direct competition with Oparanozie, who is a super natural No.9. Aijbade is kinda like Oshoala. She is a wing forward and an SS... Not a top striker. She loves to cut in from the right or left to go central and do damage. But yes, she can be utilized under adaptative measures as a no.9 or false 9 as seen in the game against China. M7even: |

Ola Aina has completed his loan switch to Italian Serie A club, Torino from parent club, Chelsea. The versatile defender put pen to paper on a new contract with the Blues, keeping him on till 2021 before moving to the Maroons where he will spend the 2018/2019 season, according to a publication on Chelsea's official website. During the course of last season, he played a key-part role for Hull City in the English Championship but has long been touted to continue his development elsewhere since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri at the club. For his compatriots, Victor Moses remains an important player for the club while Tammy Abraham who is staying on until 2022 is targeting a huge crack this term, having been backed to remain at the club amidst a plethora of outgoing transfers during the summer window. Aina first made his senior team bow for Chelsea in a League Cup win over Bristol Rovers in 2016, having progressed through the club's Cobham Academy. The 21-year-old thus, becomes the 30th Chelsea player to depart the club on a short term during the transfer window. |

A top source in Madrid has specially told SCORENigeria that Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo today arrived Madrid and now looks set to sign for modest La Liga side CD Leganes. “I saw him arrive in Madrid and was later informed he will sign for Leganes,” the source told SCORENigeria Chelsea will loan out Omeruo for the fifth straight season and the player himself told SCORENigeria Leganes and Real Valladolid are in the race to sign him for the new season. Leganes are based on the outskirts of Madrid and barely escaped relegation this past season. He has previously played on loan in Holland, England and Turkey. |

Reports in the Belgian media say the coach is considering Osimhen as a possible option in the no.9 role behind options like Wesley Moraes and Vossen. Emmanuel Dennis, Opanda and Schrijvers are not considered natural 9s but Second strikers kinda. And let me add that Osimhen didn't fail a trial with ZW. He was only rejected because of his injury record. Finito. I hope Club Brugge can see enough reason to place good trust in Osimhen. He has been unlucky with injuries thus far. He is a genuine super talent who just needs time to rise. tbaba1234: |

Of course, we know that. Ajibade and Chiamaka, so far are the only two real talents from this team but the likes of Joy Duru, Peace Efih and Glory Ogbonna are also decent talents. Any explanation as to why Ijamilusi is missing this tournament? Was she injured? Ijamilusi was one of our best during the qualifiers after Ajibade. Monday Gift too is good but she has been absolutely disappointing in France. Hope she picks up. Icon4s: |

On Victor Osimhen and links to Club Brugge Heeft Club Brugge nieuwe spits beet? In Germany they are certain that 19-year-old Nigerian has already been sold by Johan Walckiers · August 14, 2018 13:14 Club Brugge is looking for a duplicate for Wesley Moraes and according to German sources they have it. Blue-black would already have an attacker from Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg has already announced that they have sold Victor Osimhen, but not yet to whom. In Germany they are almost certain that it is Club Brugge. The attacker first tested at Zulte Waregem, but was not stopped there. The Nigerian striker of 19 years old was taken away from his native country a year and a half ago when he scored no less than ten times at the U17 World Championships. At that time both Club Brugge and Anderlecht showed interest. Last season, however, he played very little and also did not find the goal. Not so perfect too): 'Club Brugge strikes: duplicate Wesley already in Belgium' Photo: © PhotoNews August 14, 2018 12:28 Club Brugge already won some reinforcements in the mid-season, but is not ready at the mercato. Coach Ivan Leko would like to have three more wins, including a striker with a similar profile as Wesley Moraes. And the management seems to give it to him now. Deposit € 40 now and get € 80 in bonus money at Unibet! Because Wesley may be suspended for weeks and players such as Schrijvers, Dennis and Openda are more successful in the shadow of a real '9', Jelle Vossen is currently the only available striker. But that seems to change soon. Thus OwnGoal Nigeria reports that Blauw-Zwart is close to the arrival of Victor Osimhen. This 19-year-old Nigerian is owned by VfL Wolfsburg, but may have it on a rental basis. He would already stay in Belgium to complete his loan to Club Brugge. Osimhen came to the surface with strong performances at the World Championship U17 of 2015. He was then also explicitly linked to RSC Anderlecht for a while, but eventually chose Wolfsburg. In Germany, however, his breakthrough went out and so a solution was sought on a rental basis. He would also have been in the picture at Zulte Waregem, but his fitness was reportedly in doubt. Now it would be Club Brugge before rush hour, although the news was not officially confirmed yet. |
