The 11 Nominees for the UEFA Goal Of The Season have been announced, with Cristiano Ronaldo's strike against Juventus included.

Ronaldo, who joined Juventus this summer scored a stunning overhead kick goal against the Serie A Club last season.

However, Gareth Bale's stunning strike in the Champions League Final against Liverpool was not included.

Only goals that were scored in UEFA club or international fixtures were eligible for consideration for the award.

Dimitric Payet's brilliant dribble and finish for Marseille in the Europa League against RB Leipzig has been nominated.

the list is about the best goal not about most significant. Anyone that thinks that bale's goal was better than ronaldo's is just a ronaldo hater. That ronaldo's goal that got even professional footballers buzzing about it.
