l condemn the hospital authorities for not treating the students but as a student you need to have your hospital card or school I.D which contains some information especially when their is need to transfuse blood...

Amongst those that died, the school clinic refused to treat him cos he hadn't clinic card.... I'm happy that a message has been passed on to the management of the school.... Lie. Schhol ID card, correct, every student should carry his school ID card at all times. Clinic card? No. Keep it in a safe place and take it to the clinic when going on a good day. The card contains nothing but name and clinic card no.
In case of emergency, nothing is required. Attend to d victim. Need blood transfussion? Take their blood sample to know the blood group and get the appropriate blood from the blood bank. Stabilise the patient. Simple. And ask questions later.

true talk. Remember when did riot in FUTMin in 1999 and 1 peugeout car was said to be burnt. People even say na lie, the car wasnt burnt. Each student was made to pay 5k each when we resumed. Car that didnt cost more than 250k then. By the time u check the number of students that paid, it would be enough to open a peogeot factory then.
I was so mad. I was not even any where near the school that day. Mgt no wan hear any excuse. Even if u were in London, u must pay. Just imagine.

The person who asked for the clinic card should be arrested for 'murder by negligence'. He or she killed the victims.

We wish to also use this opportunity to debunk all rumours of Five students dying from the misfortunate incident. We appeal to all students to spread news which are true and reliable and avoid further heating up the polity with unreliable news of today's mishap.

However, we condole with the University Vice Chancellor and the entire University Community over today's incidence, may God grant those who have lost a love one the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

We wish you safe journey to your various destinations as you proceed on the Mid-semester break.

Violence is never a solution. Say NO to violence. Peaceful protest or suing the hospital staffs involved should have been better.
