Hello,

Do you have CIC's number? How about placing a call to CIC and wait to speak with an agent regarding this issue as well...

Hi Everyone,

Fantastic work you guys are doing here. I have a question:

I received the PPR email yesterday but in the email they told me to send my documents to Ottawa for COPR within 30 days rather than accra. I am currently in Nigeria and though i’ve sent emails to Ottawa for them to give me instructions and appendix A to submit to a VAC close to me, I haven’t gotten a response yet. Thus, i’m wondering-can I send my passport and documents via fedex to Ottawa for COPR and use my friend’s mailing address in Canada? They said they don’t send back passports to addresses outside North America. Also has anyone had this experience and what did you do?
Many thanks

I remember we had a discussion on this months back, someone just shared her story.
Is she sure they checked with the bank or they just used a different exchange rate? Your bank details are proprietary information. As a matter of fact I think it would be illegal for your bank to tell anyone (except maybe the police) your bank balance or anything relating to it.

Yeah I've been working there for over 2 years, most vet clinics pay salary by hand o as the practice is not so developed in Nigeria but I have all payslips, reference letter, last leave approval, a letter stating i am being paid in cash and a payemnt schedule of all payments since I've been working there, annual licence, receipt of monthly due to my professional body and my employer applied for my payee tax clearance at my request last week from the state tax board.

Don't worry.. A lady was paid by hand in Benin Rep and she has traveled to Canada since July. The difference is she was not invited for an interview but she uploaded all she was asked to get.

I think that's years back but f recent these embassies especially UK have access to banks such that they disclose bank balance to them...if Canada does such I wont doubt it... atleast am VERY sure of UK..

This is not correct as embassies has understanding with banks to confidentially confirm statements of clients of the bank requesting for Visa. This is why embassy's statements processing is different from the ordinary statements at least with its unique stamp. Infact, this statement finds their ways to the corporate headquarters of the bank for verification and this is done at various intervals. There is a designated desk that swiftly handles these enquiries from embassies in banks headquarters. So there's no illegality in this after all na you beg to apply.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR CONTACTS PHONE DETAILS

COPR:

I promised to update you about this after doing mine.

I paid a contact at NECO HQT in Minna on the 6th of August 2018, after sending my NECO cert and WES request form via email to him.

He confirmed the result, processed it and sent to WES on 10th via DHL. It arrived WES on the 15th.

I'm waiting for WES to send the verification email to NECO and I'll tell him to reply. Then I'll be free from WES-NECO wahala.

I hope this helps.

Calm your troubled mind. I think what you've got is enough to satisfy any interviewer.
Don't forget to go with COPR requirements too just in case, so you can come back with your COPR and skip VAC wahala

Personally I feel the issue might not be about your salary being paid in cash, cos I think an ADR would have resolved it. But going by everything you said I don't think there's any serious issue. Go through your gcms notes thoroughly and come back with your testimony

Hello everyone,

I recently submitted an application with a total score of 493 on the 10th of August. However, with the new need for biometrics, do I need to get those taken now or wait till I get an ITA before going to get my biometrics data captured?

Evening people of God. I moved my POF from foreign account to naija account, while still maintaining the required POF.

Should I inform IRCC about this move or until they request for it?

If CIC had an office in say lekki you should wake up there with both bank statements and anything else to explain your situation

Yea I actually have tried calling them severally but they don’t ever put me through to an agent instead telling me they can’t take calls at the moment.
